Easy For Me BUT...
A nice shelf, to be sure, but not without some odd flaws that left me scratching my head.It was easy for me to install because I knew how to correct their errors. The screw heads provided were 8mm (5/16") in diameter while the rounded slots the screws are meant to slip and then lock into are 7mm. So, I just drilled it out to the next larger diameter. And the fluted dowels provided were 7.5 mm in diameter while the holes for them were drilled out to a sloppy 9.5. Very poor craftsmanship. Fortunately, I have drawers of dowels and matching drill bits to fix that. Fluted dowels will swell when wetted with carpenters glue, but not up to 9.5 mm!Even so, for my needs, this shelf will do fine. It's light and will only be supporting a NetGear router, but if you want to put something heavy on it I suggest you drill your own mounting holes in the shelf 16" o/c for the corbels because the holes are 12" on center and not 16" o/c.The wood is pretty and only needs light sanding and a clear coat. Since mine is virtually in a closet, I'll either not paint it at all or paint it flat white. The surface joinery is done in finger-joint which makes it strong and not likely to split. It might seem it is priced too high but it was worth it to me to not have to mess up my shop for such a small project.

Perfectly fine.
Yup, they’re cheap little shelves. They’re also cute as can be, super easy to install, and pretty darned durable for the price. Instead of using th provided pegs, I just bought some Velcro strips to make sure the shelf stays attached to the brackets-much easier. These aren’t for holding your heavy Ming vaze, or to do chin-ups from, these are just cute little shelves. As long as you expect to get what you paid for, you won’t be disappointed.

Good shelf, bad packaging
I've been looking all over for a nice, simple little shelf like this, and this shelf didn't disappoint in terms of simplicity and style. The shelf is all white, including the feet (which is somewhat unclear from the photograph provided, which makes the feet look like they could be grey or another color.) Assembly of the shelf is very simple - just a couple of dowels connect the feet to the horizontal section, and two screws attach the shelf to the wall. Much easier to assemble and mount than some other shelfs found on Amazon. The only negative I found with this shelf is that it's made of solid pine, which means it scratches and dents easily. Personally I prefer real wood like this over MDF, despite the tendency for damage. But here's the kicker - the shelf came VERY poorly packaged, so damage was all but assured. The shelf came in a box about 3 times bigger than it needed to be, and without ANY air packs, crumpled paper, etc keeping it from moving around in there. The box it arrived in was badly squashed, and so no surprise the shelf inside was dented on one corner and one edge. A little touch up paint will help, but really they should package the shelf more carefully.

A nice, solid and sturdy shelf.
There's perfect, and there's real life. I needed this for my secondary bathroom and I didn't feel like building one from scratch. This is solid wood, and only three pieces. Instructions are simple. I built the frame for the mirror in this room, and I wanted the color to match, so I found this in the proper dimensions and "unfinished." The ONLY issue was, a small sliver at the edge of one of the bases had splintered, where it would meet the platform. No structural issue, and something so small as to not be seen, unless looking for it. Regardless, as it was a clean splinter, I glued it back to the exact cavity. Then, I sanded all parts, stained with Miniwax's Ipswich Pine, clear coated as assembled, and the imperfection was hardly noticeable. The only real part that takes any precision is marking the measurements for the anchors, which isn't difficult, and putting a level to it to make sure it's even (the holes distance is 12 1/8 inches apart.)I gave this 5 stars because it deserves it, regardless of one tiny sliver breaking off. I've worked with wood enough to know it will happen from time to time. It was in no way serious enough to warrant a return, especially when a couple of drops of glue and two hours of patience resolves the issue. If you need a good shelf and want to stain it yourself, this is worth every penny.

Looks good, takes stain well, had to fix a bracket
I purchased the unfinished version. It was sanded and ready for finishing. I took stain well and looks good.My issue was that the screws that held one of the clips that are used to attach the shelf brackets to the wall were loose, resulting in the shelf not being stable when attached to the wall. I tried to tighten the screws and unfortunately they were too stripped to tighten. I removed the clip and put in some wood filler in the screw holes and then when it set, reinstalled the clip. Problem solved. The shelf fit tight to the wall.I also added a a little glue in the holes for the pegs used to hold the shelf to the brackets as without the glue it was a little unstable.

Nice sturdy shelf
Nice sturdy shelf. I didn't read any instructions. Installation was obvious. I used a small drill bit to drill a hole in the wall for the support brace. Then tried to push the plastic anchor into the hole. I gradually increased the size of my drill bit until i was able to gently tap the plastic insert into the wall with a rubber mallet. An 11/64 drill bit did the job. Then I used my 18 inch ruler and a small level to measure the distance for the second hole 16 and 1/8 inches to the right of the first hole. Then I installed the screws in the anchors and adjusted them ever so slightly until the support braces were snug against the wall when placed on the anchors. I'm very happy with the shelf and will buy a couple more.
