Very convenient way to get automatic dusk to dawn lighting in existing fixtures. No need to pay an electrician to rewire or buy screw in dusk to dawn attachments for each fixture. So far very happy with the bulbs. We'll find out about longevity and energy efficiency after we've had them a little while but so far so good!

I put these my light fixtures in my front porch and back patio because I don't like having a dark house on the outside, and I always forget to turn them on/off. They do the trick. They go on as soon as the sun goes down and vice-versa. Always make sure to leave the light switch on at all times so that they can actually work. Great buy.

I am sitting in an otherwise dark room with this lightbulb just installed in a desk lamp, and the lightbulb keeps turning itself off for a fraction of a second maybe every ten seconds.

The auto-on feature works good, unlike may sensors. The brightness is about like a 50w-60 incandescent bulb, so if you don't need much light these are great.
