LOVE THESE SHEARS!
These curved chunkers are so SHARP and HIGH QUALITY it’s actually kind of crazy. Be careful with them because they do come super sharp (good thing) but it’s super easy to cut a dog. The fit my hands fine but I am a right handed person, and average sized hands. Finger holes fit well and they don’t ever get stuck while opening!Chunkers and thinners are like a groomer’s eraser. A good pair is CRUCIAL. If you do a lot of curved shapes (poodles, doodles, etc) I HIGHLY recommend these curved ones.

Works well on a Cavapoo's facial hair
I'm using this to trim around my Cavapoo's head. It works well for the most part, but it sticks once in a while as I'm cutting her hair. Maybe it's the texture of her hair. The groomer says she doesn't have poodle hair or cavalier fur. She has long, silky hair that's soft like a bunny. I kept the scissors because I simply need to make an additional cut when it sticks. No real problem.

My go to shears
Purchased 3 different styles of these scissors for my doodles and they work great. Very sharp and easily adjustable. I use them all the time.

Horrible scissors waaay out of alignment on arrival! Just a bad product.
Purchased the 7.5 inch chunkers. First, they are NOT lightweight. I'm a professional dog groomer and these scissors are much heavier than the actually good scissors I use. I got these to be temporary chunkers while the good ones are being serviced. But these, well yikes! Tried them in my hand just to do a preliminary evaluation and noticed that they are heavy could feel them dragging at the teeth when opening and closing. Checked the alignment (hold the scissors flat up to a good light and notice if there is any light showing between the blades) and of course there is light, and not just a small gap either!. It's tight at the base and tight at the tip but a big gap between. Scissors are 2 pieces of metal held together by a screw. In this pair, the side with the teeth has more of a bend/curve than the other side, this is what is creating the problem; both sides should have the same bend so that there is a nice smooth glide when they are in use. These are expensive enough that one would think they would be paying someone to do a check on each pair to ensure that all the scissors sent for sale are working properly. I mean, just what I did would be something and take 30 seconds: hold them up to a light and make sure they are aligned, and open and close and make sure they operate smoothly.Another thing I notice while examining these: the curve does not go from base to tip! There is about 1.25 inches from the tip down that is absolutely straight! The curve should be in the middle of the section that cuts, but on these the curve is located closer to the screw, leaving the area at the other end flat. I'll try to remember to post a photograph showing my good scissors with these to illustrate this.Another crazy thing: the plastic that the scissors come in has a sticker with a QR code to scan. It says,"How to repair a thinner that is not closing properly?" So obviously this is a standard problem with the scissors they send out. And the video, which of course I had to go look at, is useless. So here we have yet another Chinese product with no quality. I'm not a happy person. I hate having to go through the tedious return process but I want my $49 back.

Good for the price
I’ve been grooming for 13 years and I’m always looking for affordable, good-quality scissors. When I first got these, they worked really well, but now they don’t seem to cut as smoothly as they did before. They’re not dull, but something seems off with the performance. That being said, they’ve still held up, so I’m giving them 4
