Q: Does this fold or collapse for packing in a suitcase?

You could definitely flatten it enough to pack in a suitcase. Because of the thickness, though, it will NOT be flat. It will take up a little space. The bag, however, is the perfect size for using as a carry-on (if you are flying)...roomie enough to take on everything you will need in a carry-on bag and small enough to fit under the seat or in the overhead bin. I love this bag and use it for SO much more than just packing food.

Q: How does this do in a car in summer with ice packs inside? I am between this and the 12 can Polar Bear...

Hi I am a flight attendant and use this cooler on the aircraft for 10-12hr with ice packs. For me it works very good. On very warm day I do have to put more ice in the cooler to keep thing cool.

This bag has great insulation that will keep your frozen food cold for hours and your items at room temperature. I am a flight attendant and I use this lunch bag all the time! The only negative is that sometimes items that are not packed well or air pressure seeps in your food container may tend to leak! Bag provides extra compartments for your tumbler, condiments and even your hand sanitizers! Great bag for a great price! Used by thousands of flight attendants around the world!

I havent flewn in a plane in years but i think it will fit under the seat. If not, it will definately fit in front of your feet without a problem
