This is a nice little machine. It's well made, durable, and reasonably priced. Its small size makes it a good travel companion. It has optional features I don't have on my old white noise machine, including a night light function, and a range of sounds-- waves, wind, water, rain etc -- to accompany sleep. The volume can be controlled from quiet to relatively loud for such a small size. I've retired my veteran machine.

This sound machine is fantastic! It has completely transformed sleep quality. The 25 soothing sounds are all high-quality and there is a great variety, from classic white noise and fan sounds to relaxing nature sounds like ocean waves and rainfall. The night light feature is a perfect addition, especially for a baby's nursery or a bedside table. The memory function is incredibly convenient, as it remembers the last sound and volume setting used. With 32 levels of volume control and multiple timer options, it is easy to find the perfect setting. It is highly effective at masking disruptive environmental noises and is a must-have for light sleepers. Highly recommended!!

This is a loud, reliable, and useful product. Before I got this little machine, if I wanted to fall asleep to the sweet, salty sounds of the ocean, I needed to listen to a conch shell. Don't get me wrong, I quite enjoy picking up a shell and listening to it whilst closing my eyes and imagining myself at the beach, but that is enjoyable as a short pastime. Holding a shell up to your ear for five minutes can already become tiresome. Trying to maintain that all night? There's the rub (quite literally because I was irritating my skin in this endeavor). So, after one too many nights of nearly poking my eye out when rolling over, it was time to buy a sound machine. I did a bit of research looking at various helpful reviews, and landed on this machine (not literally, but it does seem like it could withstand it if I were to accidentally land on it). It has a plethora of sounds from which to choose, a large range of loudness, and a nightlight. So many options! But I really only needed it for my ocean noises, and it provides that reliably every night. I also like how it remembers the setting it was last at when turned off. Overall, very pleased with my purchase. More sound, less sand. Win-win

A friend used a sound machine while a group of us were on vacay together which prompted me to want one since I don’t sleep well in a completely quiet room. I found this one on Amazon & chose it for the easy touch buttons on top, the night light, size, cost, great for travel & the variety of sounds. I was excited when it arrived and have been using it ever since. The sounds are wonderfully peaceful. I like it so much that I’m ordering 4 more for gifts.

I needed a white noise machine so that I would stop being woken up in the morning by my neighbor's phone alarm which, unfortunately, the vibration moves through the walls even if I can't hear the alarm itself. This thing has been an absolute life saver in that sense because now I can sleep through their vibrations without concern. The white noise can get incredibly loud but can also get much quieter, which is nice. All of their sound options and light options work exactly as advertised and I personally use the rain. The noise is kind of generic and not super high quality but, for the price, it's very good. The only small gripe I have is that I wish the cord were longer because sometimes I'll knock it off its position on my bed's headboard, which can be annoying when you're half asleep. Otherwise, it was definitely worth the cost (I spent $15).

I just received this sound machine. I spent about 6 hours looking at and comparing sound machines before I settled on this particular model. It has a good number of sounds for the money I spent. It also had a $4.00 off coupon at the time I purchased it. But there were no agreements about positive reviews in exchange for the coupon. I'm not getting any type of remuneration for this review or the purchase of the product. I have no connections whatsoever with the manufacturer or the seller of this product, or any employee of either. The only connection I have is my purchase of the product with my own money, and with a clearly marked $4.00 coupon on the item page. I will not receive a refund for a review either. I haven't used it for sleeping yet, so I'll have to come back and update in a month or so after I've used it for awhile but honestly when I listen to it, it's loud enough to drown out the garbage truck, and the thump thump of bass music playing in cars going by, as well as other household noises. This machine is made of a lightweight plastic but does not feel delicate or flimsy. The one I bought is white with dark grey markings on the buttons. It has an orange light in the bottom of the unit which I don't need, but if you need a nightlight it is a nice feature. I turned it off right away. Using a regular old fashioned wooden ruler the top and bottom measure right about 4 inches, and it stands almost 2 inches tall. It has 4 little rubberized type pads about 1/3 inch wide on the bottom. They should be able to prevent most slipping and sliding but if you need a firmer non slip some velcro ought to work or one of those non skid things made to put under carpet corners. There any number of ways to prevent slipping. Like I said it's rubbery enough that it should prevent most slippage. The only drawback I can see is it takes one of those round plug ins. So you can't use just any USB power cord. This has a USB cord but has that pin type end that plugs into the side of the machine. It's not a deal breaker, but you can't just pull out one of those USB cords, to replace it, that I'm sure everyone has in their junk drawer. LOL. A power brick is included which is very nice because you won't have to juggle charging your phone, tablet , laptop and etcetera with using the sound machine all night. Cudos for an included power brick! So I got this little machine for $15.00 and change plus tax. I just opened the box, and removed the power brick and the power cord and plugged all of it up and in. The power button is clearly visible, and easy to press. The buttons are a good size and far enough apart that someone with big hands and fingers can press each button without pressing other buttons at the same time. Cudos to the person who designed this machine for the well thought out placement of the buttons. The buttons do NOT light up, so if you need buttons that light up go with a different machine. I don't require light up buttons so they're fine for me. Honestly even kids could operate this sound machine without instructions. I figured it out in a couple of minutes, without looking at the instructions, but I had them nearby just in case. The buttons are arranged in a semicircle around the top of the machine just above the speaker which is in the center of the top. It's a nice sized speaker. Each button is clearly marked with the operation it is for. I ran through all the sounds for which there are forward and backwards buttons, so you can go through the sounds from either direction. I need reading glasses and I could see these marking fine without reading glasses. Each button is a little over 3/4 an inch, and the speaker grill is approximately 2 inches wide and circular in shape, and it sits directly in the center on the top. There are 5 indicator lights that reflect the timer if you choose to use that function and they are a very bright white color when in use. The timer function can be set easily by turning the machine on a pressing the button with a clock face, and can be set for 1,2,3 or 4 hours, or infinite play with no time limit. The volume up and down buttons are clearly marked, and to go either up and down in volume doesn't take a lot of clicks. There is a comfortable increase of sound for each click. Cudos for that also. I've bought items before that take many many clicks to get to a good volume. This little machine gets LOUD. The machine is made of a lightweight plastic but does not feel delicate or flimsy. I need this when I travel because I have to have some continuous noise so I can sleep. At home I use humidifier or room purifier but when I travel, I can hear the A/C going on and off and so it's my sleep. This takes care of most of the disturbing noises. You plug it in, and it goes on all night long. Very easy to operate. And it has light which you can use in pitch black room if you need to take a trip to the bathroom or in the morning, it makes waking up much softer. This unit is my perfect travel companion.

Noise level is nice, its portable and helps my son sleep. It also has different sounds and lights which is nice so you can also use it for a night light for your children.
