Excellent sturdy product
Excellent non-stick flat pan (Tava). It works very well on glass top cooking range and gas stove. It can handle hot temperature. The handle is well designed and heat proof. Perfect for making Dosa and baking Indian flat bread and paratha.

Great Comal Replacement
My old flat pan (Comal) used for warming up tortillas and making some other things finally got replaced by this new one. I looked long and hard and finally settled on this one. I'm glad I did some looking at the reviews before buying another. There are so many options, and even some that pose using the term 'Comal'. But they are not. This product was not cheap aluminum piece of metal coated with Teflon. It is very solid and distributes heat really well. I use it now all the time and love that I don’t see how it can possibly warp…ever. Looking forward to many years of usage. Excellent.

Got sent a used and damaged product
This is the first time I got such a bad product from Hawkins through Amazon. I have ordered the same product at least 10 times before this, but this never happened before.I have submitted for a refund, but the experience has left a bad taste.

2 years the non stick flat dosa tava is very good.
I use Hawkins tava for many years, every two years I get a new one and makes good dosa.

Good just for a couple of months
The media could not be loaded. I have used this to make dosa(kind of crepes). I used to make hardly twice a week. They used to come out so well, no sticking and scratching while cooking. But it only lasted couple of months. After that I see the non stick stuff eroding. Not worth the price.

Works great!
Works very well and able to spread on it easily, but a little hard to clean gently. Definitely reccomend it!
