After reading all the good reviews about this product and the fact that it stated it’s 100% natural, I was keen to try it. When the item arrived I used a small amount to test the effectiveness. It gave me an itch and made my skin super sensitive! A burning sensation! I discontinued the use and had to recover from the effects and had to use steroid cream to recover. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone, I’m very disappointed! ALSO what's with the dripper?

I have had a chronic anal fissure for 10 months. To remedy the condition, I have done everything including sitz baths, the nitroglycerine cream from the gastroenterologist, and wheatgrass cream. Nothing worked and the condition just kept getting more and more painful. Anyone who has a fissure knows the pain involved. I experienced spasms that lasted for hours after defecating. I was paralyzed from pain and fear everyday. It has been the most debilitating problem I have ever encountered for this amount of time. I lived on stool softeners and still had terrible pain everyday. i started using the oil on a Monday and by Friday I was experiencing 70% less pain after the bowel movement. I cannot recall the last time I was in church on a Sunday morning and did not have terrible pain while sitting on those hard pews. Today, I was pain free in church. For the doubters, I find you cannot get enough oil on a cotton ball to make the product work effectively. The best application is 3 drops directly on a gloved finger and then massaging the oil on the clean area every 6 hours. I have been using essential oils for years for all kinds of ailments. I have had great success with them for a variety of ailments. It makes sense that german chamomile and calendula would be in this formula. Both are very mild and work for terrible burns of any kind. I intend to keep using this product and will buy another bottle and use that as well to make sure the tissue has healed completely. Personally, I believe this product is the only thing out there to fix this problem. Addendum: July 6, 2013 The above review was done in March. Now it is almost 4 months later, and I am on my 2nd bottle of Fissure Control and getting ready to purchase my 3rd bottle. I must say I am 99% better. I no longer have the anal fissure. It completely healed. I no longer have any pain when I defecate and no blood. For me, this is a miracle. I suffered for over 10 months with constant pain and bleeding. I highly recommend this essential oil regimen. It works. You must apply the oil directly to the rectal area after every bowel movement and reapply between movements if you have any pain. I also apply it every night before i go to sleep as good measure. While the fissure was healing, I upped my water instake to 80oz a day to keep my stools soft to aid in the healing. It worked. It also has helped with an external hemorroid I have had for 30+ years. It has really made it almost disappear.

This is a fantastic product and if used as instructed, works brilliantly. Even if you don't use it as frequently as recommended, it is still effective. After a long time of living with fissures and discomfort, this stuff healed them quickly. My partner has used it too with equal success. I wish that I had found it sooner. I looked on Amazon at various products to treat the issue and this one stood out because of the reviews, an added bonus that it is all natural. It seemed pricey to me for such a small quantity, but it is well worth it if you are suffering, especially if other remedies have not worked. I only had to use it for a few days and never again since, so there is plenty left. It's not a subject that you would generally discuss but I would have no problem recommending this product.

This product is amazing, I read the reviews on the website and thought I will try this remedy, when the parcel arrived it came with in two days, I opened the parcel and I thought what is this, a small bottle with a dropper for the ointment to come out. my initial thoughts this will not work, I have been mislead but i had not, please read on .i had a bowel operation 12 years ago and the operation was a success but I still had rectal pain after a normal bowel movement. no straining or anything like that. I tried this ointment 5 drops twice a day out side the rectum and with in 3 days the pain had gone I was totally amazed , I am still using the ointment there is enough for 90 applications, i have recently converted back to wearing close fitting mens briefs and this has not ruined my briefs.it has working for me and i am pain free.i hope this ointment works for you.

Love the product. It does exactly what it claimed even better than other well known products on the market. Make sure you have a sitz bath when situation permits before applying the oil.
