Will this tint the water if making a simple syrup or lemonade?

It will be more of a pale brown color when making simple syrup and slightly color the lemonade depending on how much u put in.

Do you know what specific lavender this is? Some make better teas and such, others are better for soaps. My favorite kind is grosso lavender.

The label says: Lavender Flowers Extra Organic, Lavandula Angustifolia, Origin: France. Kosher. That's it. We bought it for the smell, to use as sachets.Sorry for not getting back sooner.
