I'm a professional groomer. This blade is nice and sharp, and arrived as expected.Update: three years later, this is my favorite 40 blade. Still as sharp as the day it arrived and easy to clean. I groom 5 to 7 dogs a day, and it's held up beautifully.

First use .25mm don't know about longevity but got under the dreaded mattes fur on backside of legs. Cut thru like going thru butter. Exactly what I hoped to happen.

Bought this blade after my vet suggested this blade as a blade to be used for the trimming between and under the eyes of my dogs, Shih Tzus and Lhasa Apsos. Worked like a charm and the dogs did not balk. Trimming went smother and faster.

though i am not a pro groomer, i do cut a lot of dogs and i get these blades for my local vet, they are terrific.easy to install and easy to take out...they clean easily and cut perfectly and fast...i am totally satisfied with these clipper blades....
