AppliaFit 3-Pack Diverter Spider Gasket Compatible with Pentair 271148 for Select Top Mount and Side Mount Multiport Valves (3-Pack)

These gaskets are made of quality rubber. The fit is perfect as well. No matter where you purchase spider gaskets they are not easy to install, especially to have them last. If they are not glued in with the correct glue they will lift out of the grooves when you move the dial to backwash or any other setting you didn't start out with.

It was exactly what I needed.

Others who used this gasket said that removing the original was the hardest part, and they are correct! It was very difficult to remove, but after almost 1/2 hour, I got the old rubber out and the groove clean enough. I lubed up the new one, and it fit perfect. Reassembled the valve and started the pump, no leaks to waste while filtering, which is what was going on before. Good fit, in the Pentair filter valve.

3 gaskets in good shape but warped/bent likely because they were shipped loose instead of in a box. Picked the one least warped, seems to be working well so far.

Mine works perfectly and I did not need to use glue or adhesive like some videos insisted. I do recommend using copious amounts of grease for the installation though!

These spider gaskets are all over the internet. This particular 3-pack cost only slightly more than the single gasket I was going to purchase. So if they don't last quite as long, so what? I've got two more!

I went to the pool store to purchase this and they wanted $40. I ordered these on Amazon and I got three for $18. And works for the purpose that I need it
