We got these for my kids lunches because they kept saying their other thermos food was lukewarm. These hold the heat reasonably well, although I’m not sure it’s that much better. At least, maybe it’s just my kids who don’t seem to be as excited about hot lunches as I wish them to be. However, be aware of the tight vacuum seal. We had a really hard time opening it after the first day of use. We preheated it with boiled water and it tightened the lid a bit too much. 8 hours later my husband had to bring a few tools from the garage to assist us in opening.

Holds temp fine for long enough for breakfast. If olive oil on rubber and instructions not followed, may need to order strap wrench too to get lid off.

Yes, I know I could have read the dimensions, but was surprised at receiving such a small container! For its limited use, I would not invest the cash.

after the second time of not being able to get the lid off went straight into the garbage. i have a larger size of the same thing & never have this problem.i was able to use it a few times before i finally threw it away & it not once kept my food warm.waste of money & now worse is that i brought food to work & can’t eat it because i can’t get the stupid lid off

I was excited to purchase this, as Kleen Kanteen used to have excellent stainless containers a few years ago and we lost ours. I thought this would have a stainless top area that touches the food (like their old container model AND the TKWide water bottle screw-on lid). It does NOT. The lid is plastic and silicone and absolutely terrible at insulating. Our 5+ year old Thermos Funtainers work way better than this super expensive thing! Save yourself money and get a better & cheaper product.
