Perfect For Fursuit Making! The shavers cut through faux fur beautifully! I'm not sure in battery life since I just got them, but they run smoothly right out of the box! They're surprisingly and pleasantly quiet! I love how light weight but sturdy they are! They're not a hassle or bulky like other shavers I've used! Absolutely love this!

Package arrived on time and in great shape. All pieces were there, in good shape, and functional. The clipper was even charged, but I plugged it in while I set up my grooming station outside. I have never cut hair on anything, including myself. Neither human nor animal. I watched a couple of YouTube videos. That was the extent of my training. My dog is little, a Malti-poo mix, and rather skittish. She’s never liked going to the groomer. But she was in desperate need of a haircut and the warm weather (soon to be hot) made it imperative. The reviews on this set seemed good... Well, let me just say these clippers worked great! They were easy to maneuver around her little body, and in about 25 minutes, she was trimmed and neat! I used mainly the clippers and a bit of scissors. (I did order a set of scissors and they arrive in a few days for our next beauty appointment!) No cries of pain from man nor beast, no blood, and a ton of hair floating around in the air. Now, don’t get me wrong, this is no dog show level grooming. I see spots I could have done better with. But she is so much happier to have all that hair gone, my wife thinks I’m a genius (of course!), the kids were floored by how cute she looks now, and we can go for our Covid walks without me feeling ashamed my dog looks so ratty, and I don’t have to worry about her overheating. All in all, a great product that feels solid in the hand, is quiet enough a skittish dog didn’t mind them at all, and very easy to operate. It’s already paid for itself! And I know I can keep her hair short all summer long without it costing a day of my time and an arm and a leg of money! A win for all!

Enjoyed using these clippers. Very quiet and light weight. Easy to handle, nice they are cordless. I fully charged clippers before using. Did very well on first clipping job on double coated dog. Scissors are nicely made also. First use went very well

Edited again 6/13/19: I decided to ask Amazon for a replacement due to my scissors in this set not being sharp, I received my replacement very quickly and tested my new set and the scissors are AWESOME! So all in all I'm going to say this is a good VALUE set, and worth the price. I've also used the clippers not only on my dog but also tried them on my son's hair and I'm very happy with them. Edited: At first glance these seemed very nice and for the price I still believe they are worth it. I'm mostly satisfied with the set and I think these will work fine for trims here and there but I feel like they might not hold up for long. I have a cavalier king Charles spaniel and she has hair everywhere, lol. Her longer hair kept getting caught and pulled between the clippers and the guard piece, and also my scissors are not sharp enough to cut more then a few hairs at a time, especially near the tip of the scissor. And The thinning sheers will not completely close and I think they might be bent. I mostly ordered for the clippers but I wish I could have used the scissors too. I wanted these to work and they do just not for a full groom, only trims here and there. Just got today, tried it on my dogs paws, very easy to use and it did a great job! Cant wait to try it for a full groom after her next bath! I'm impressed!!!

These clippers are very lightweight and incredibly quiet. that may be due to the fact that they don't have the same power as the more expensive name brands? I read a lot of reviews and these sounded like they would work for my purposes. I have 4 dogs and my grooming bill was getting to be as much as a car payment. I decided I would get a few tools and give grooming a try on at least my 2 older calmer dogs. I was really nervous the first use, but after watching several youtube videos I dived in. I am not posting a picture as my first attempt is not great looking, but that was not the clippers, it was me! I was to nervous to use clippers without a guard so my pekingnese straight fur was a little striated from the comb/guard, and I'm sure not the best technique on my part. My biggest concern these first go arounds is not to do any harm to my sweet pets as I learn. So to sum this up the clippers are great for ease of use and almost whisper quiet. They are very light and effectively removed fur, no pulling, nice and sharp. love that here is no cord in my way when I'm trying to get around my dog. My groomer did say not to expect a long life on clippers under $100, however I am only using them on a couple of my small dogs with fine fur maybe once a month to 2 months. For the price I am very happy with these clippers. If I had one negative it would be that there is not an option for more comb sizes. I would love to do my shih Tzu, but need a guard at least 1-1 1/2 inches for her fluffy teddy bear cut. However I knew buying this product it would not have that size and am ok with it. I liked the variety of combs, scissors was amazing as worked very well for my dog who has lots long curly hair noise level was great she was not scared at all. Nail clippers was also very good and easy to use. Comb was great for detangling the only thing I would say I didn’t like was that it wasn’t that easy to use I was confused with settings and Manual didn’t explain too much ! After playing around with it eventually will Use to it !!overall my dog looked great and soft I would Recommend to let it fully charge first for the price and how great it works o would recommend and give it a 5 star !!!

Returned these clippers as they did not work well.

I bought this when I got my new puppy. I have used it several times on her now and I am impressed with how quiet it is. I thought she might be frightened by the noise but she was not as you can barely hear it. Her coat is really thick and this does a great job of getting through it. The entire kit was extremely helpful from the comb, the scissors and all the blade attachments. The only complaint that I have is that the blade is a little hard to pop off when I am cleaning it, but that’s probably a good thing too.
