McCormick Brown Gravy Mix, 0.87 oz

We love this brown gravy mix for many different dishes that we use. This is the cheapest I have ever been able to find it. I know you have to buy a box of it, but it lasts for a long time. It has a great taste and is low in calories. Highly recommend. I do not care for the cheaper store brands. I only like this brand.

What was I thinking buying 6 lbs of gravy (*SMH*, lol). This will last me a long time, and I know it will stay fresh for a long time- there is nothing to go bad, and the container is durable with a good lid. The price is much more reasonable than small bottles or individual packs.It can be used for so much beyond just gravy- use it to flavor up some roasts, add a little to soups, add to other dishes that benefit from flavor boost and some creaminess. And of course for use as a gravy. I sometimes like a little dish of gravy alongside some fries. I simply do not make enough meat to be able to make a fresh gravy every time I want it. Also, I dont have that ambition.Anyway, I like it-- very easy to make, no fuss, really no effort. Tasty enough for all my gravy needs!

This mix is great for making gravy and adding to stew ,the taste is good and the value is great .

Flavorfully & a good deal.

I was kind of taken aback when I got these out of the box to check for an expiration date and could not find it. All the ones purchased in store have the date stamped (not too clearly now mind you) on the back on the bottom border. I searched with a magnifying glass but nothing.That said, the first packet I used the powder did seem a little bit hard in the pack but finally came out fine. Now the one thing I have noticed about this having had a second one to compare - it is really thicker than those I have bought previously (in store). This stuff will turn to pudding if you turn your back on it for a minute. Not sure if they have changed the formula or it might be I have some old stuff since I can't tell because of no expiry date. Your mileage may vary. I hope to find it in local stores soon and see about the difference.Update: I did check out the outer carton in the pantry and while the individual packets had no expire date the carton did have one stamped on it - about six months out. I continue to use these although I do still feel as though they thicken up too much too quickly. I have to wonder if there has been a formula change.

I use the brown gravy all the time. It has a great flavor and its easy to make. Good for putting over meat, potatoes, or noodles. So much you can do with this. Good buy!!!

Excellent product at an excellent price.

Very good buy, thinking about pouches of gravy, but to get the same amount of gravy mix that in the container $50.00 to $100.00. Yep, get it while you can!!!
