Used this to resurface my paper sharpening wheel works perfectly and it will probably last me a couple years easily.

I purchased this to apply to an MDF wheel mounted to a bench grinder for the purpose of sharpening knives. When applied to the MDF with white glue it chipped right off. When applied to the MDF with real wood glue it adhered very well. A light touch is all that is needed to produce a good edge. These two containers will surely last the average home shop enthusiast many years.

I got the 180/220 grit SiC to use with granite slabs to flatten some Shapton Pro sharpening stones. It worked great. My only complaint is the consistency doesn’t seem as good as some other SiC powder I’ve purchased. It’s supposed to be 180/220 grit but seems finer at maybe 320-400 grit and there’s a lot of even finer dust in it. Still, it worked.

I did not realize #1 and #2 came in this size! So worth it to purchase these if you plan to even casually tumble because you simply run out!
