Q: Can it pass for a maroon color?

It's not gold lol it's like a mauve color but darker and metallic

Q: Could I paint a bathroom mirror with this paint?

I have not tried this on a mirror. I am sure you could use on the frame as long as you sealed with a sealant of your choice....the sealant would "waterproof" your creation. I have used these paints on rocks and finished with a high gloss sealer (DuraClear Gloss Varnish) and they are quite durable in weather. If you want to use on the actual mirror, contact the company, they have many diy instructions on their site. Colors are vibrant and lasting.
