Highly recommend. Exactly what I needed.

These are the best heavy-duty magnetic hooks for the classroom. I have tried several different brands, and these are my favorite. The hook works very well, so you can hang clipboards with these. You could also use 2 or 3 of these to hang a large pocket chart. They are very durable, and are also very easy to find. Unlike small magnets, which can be easily dropped or lost, these are easy to handle, and you are unlikely to drop them. If you do drop them, they are easy to find because they are white and relatively large.

So I'll start by saying these are exactly what I was hoping for, really strong magnets that will stick to my whiteboard so I can have papers hanging from clips. Perfect. HOWEVER, the product I received was CLEARLY well used and put back in the package. It was all taped up and the paint is all scratched off the hooks. These were used for a while before they were returned. It doesn't particularly matter in this case as I'm just using these at work to hang reference notes from, but I'm really disappointed I paid for and expected to get a new, unused product and didn't. Probably would not buy from this seller again.

Great for the class board to hang anything

I bought these as a much less expensive solution for hanging curtains on a new steel entry door than the magnetic cafe rods available at Amazon and elsewhere that seem to get mediocre reviews. Over the recent holidays I first used the hooks to hang lightweight holiday decorations on the exterior of the door. They held flawlessly though several storms that included rain, snow, and high winds; and they are clearly able to support much heavier items than my decorations (weighing no more than 1-2 pounds). Now I've moved the hooks inside and hung curtains using the metal cafe rods from the old wooden entry door. Again the hooks are more than strong enough to support the drapes. The one hitch is that the cafe rods rest on the hooks but don't fit into them. I haven't tried to bend the hooks open more. So far the rods are staying put and have not slipped or fallen despite being less than securely attached. The hooks get 4 stars rather than 5 for the purpose of hanging curtains since a standard cafe rod doesn't quite fit into them, but I'd give them a 5 for general purpose magnets that hold as strongly as advertised.

Don't let the dainty white color of these magnets fool you. These suckers are strong! I just needed them to hang some things around the kitchen, such as dish towels and pot holders, but these magnets could hold a lot more. Although, I tried placing a jacket onto it because I might have been able to use that at work, but  American Rag Hooded Coat  was too heavy for it, but it didn't drop suddenly -- it slowly fell to the floor after about 10 seconds.So if you need strong magnets to sturdily hold items, you won't be disappointed. Also think it's weird that this item is in the toys section.. It's kind of hard to see in the product photo, but the casing on these have very narrow little metal hooks that have been painted white. The back of them is unfortunately somewhat rough, with a few metal burs that ended up scratching the side of my refrigerator. It already looked like junk, so I'm not too upset about that and will be careful to pull them off before repositioning in the future.That being said, these are strong little buggers; I was able to use one as a stud-finder (for the more prominent nails, it even stuck to the wall by itself!!) I purchased them to put on the side of my fridge, and they're holding my metal whisks and potholders perfectly. I experimentally hung a saucepan off of one--it didn't budge!I feel like they're kind of expensive for what they are, but if you're more concerned about practicality than aesthetics, I would recommend them.

They seem pretty good at first, but they continue to slide down with any weight on them. I really wanted one hook to keep our oven mitts up and out of the way, but its a little frustrating these are not staying in place. May need larger magnets/ and therefore larger hooks. :/

These magnets are pretty good -- requires a good tug to pull them off a metal surface. I was hoping to use one as a coat hangar on the back of my steel front door, but they are not quite strong enough for that. They will hold a light raincoat, but will drop a hoodie unless it is placed on the hook very carefully. They are fine for kitchen utensils such as long handled spoons, spatulas, etc., even if they are made of metal.

Trying to keep my pocket chart up on my magnetic board is a challenge with these. Magnets are not flush with the plastic and don't stay up very well. I only ordered these when the super strong ones (which are the BEST) I had ordered were canceled by Amazon and left me scrambling. Never again!These hooks are only useful for paper or very light decorations.

I bought these for use on a magnetic whiteboard. Great product. Good value. I would buy again.

I do agree that these magnets are strong but it depends on the surface.I tried it in several ones and in most of them the magnet would slide down with the weighn even in the refrigerator...The one good surface I found, however, it gets really strong and holds its weigh.I'm still glad I bought them, though.
