Pyramid World Map Vintage Style Poster Print

Looks good on the wall it is on. Lacks Antarctica.

It was pretty and large. When I took it out it was not wrinkled like other commentators said it was. It was shipped super fast, way earlier than the estimation date. I am horrible at geography so that is why I ordered it, plus I'm taking AP European next year so I'm going to have to learn my the geography of Europe. However, I thought it would be a bit thicker, so I could just tape the poster on the wall in front of my desk. I don't think I can do that now though, because it's super fragile and thin. It's thinner than your regular copy paper. It's glossy, giving it a beautiful effect and it won't get old. You can simply clean dust off by wiping it with a wet cloth or towel. Other than the part of the "thin and fragile" I have no regrets of buying it. I think I'm going to have to buy a frame for it though, so I can hang it up.

I ordered this world map to hang in the breezeway into my house. I wanted something with a subdued vintage look, and this did the trick.I ordered just the poster itself, which was very inexpensive for its good quality, and shipped free.It is on glossy, poster-like, heavy duty paper. It is up-to-date as far as 2009 (so some country borders are not up to date, but it is 99% accurate). I got this for decorative purposes, so I dont mind if South Sudan doesnt have up to date borders...It came wrapped in a cardboard tube, and was well protected. It was POURING rain when it was delivered but the mail man wrapped it in a plastic bag, so my map arrived in perfect condition. Also I liked that it was not folded; since it came rolled up in a tube it is perfect and had no creases.

I received my map very quickly and was very pleased with the actual quality however, when it was delivered the tube was crushed in the center which crushed the center of my map a bit. I was quite disappointed with this but was able to flatten it so that is was not so noticeable. I actually purchased this map for a DIY wall travel map to document the trips my husband and I have taken together since we have met. After flattening the map, I painted the map with two coats of mod podge (let each coat dry) which gave it a satin finish then attached the map to a cork board then placed it in a frame. Turned out pretty nice. Thanks for the map!

I have had this hanging in my house now for a year and a half, and I get questions regularly on where I got it! As a homeschool mom, I love that it is a mostly current map as I can still use it with my kids when talking about where things are happening in the world. It isn't totally up to date (I use it as a 'rough-idea' map and we look up the specifics online when needed), but the vintage style blends in with my decor much better than a regular school map would have! I framed mine in an old frame that I chalk-painted with a chevron fabric in the back. It is the perfect look for my den/playroom.This was a personal purchase for me at current retail price, without promise of review.

I got this map to glue on a framed wood to mark our family's journeys hither and yon. It is great. I like the old world look. It is large without all the major city blowups like many world maps have. The price was right. The print is crisp and clear. The colors are more monochromatic, which is what I desired to make it looked aged. I did not want vibrant coloration.

This is a really great map. I liked this one better than the other ones I saw online- because I like the antique style and that all of the major cities are labeled. I think this would work really well in an office, although I have mine in my room.I glued this poster to a piece of foam board, and then placed it in a black frame. I used a bunch of pins and marked all of the places I've been to. When people see my room- this poster is always commented on, everyone likes to look in close at the details and ask about the places I've been to. I would definitely recommend this map for travelers.Cons: I actually think this map is a bit too big for my room, so be sure to measure and see if the map fits properly.

This map was just OK. If you are looking for somethin greally "vintage" looking this might not be for you. While the color is a nice aged color the map is very shiny and sort of generic looking - not vintage. The print is really small and somewhat blurry as others have said. I ended up attaching to cork, burning the edges and destressing parts of the map to make it look more vintage so overall it's ok, but not exactly what I wanted.

Wow, I am so impressed! Not sure what happened with the review where it was all folded up? Mine came nicely rolled in a thick cardboard triangle box. I unrolled it and it's perfect, the image is a nice brown that gives it a scroll-type look. Very clear print with all the countries and capitals clearly labelled. I can't wait to hang this... Thank you!!

This product shipped quickly and safely with no damages. The map looks just as pictured and the paper material is fairly high quality as it's slightly thicker than most posters I have. I would 100% recommend this to anyone who is interested.

Despite being mostly beige and brown (because it's vintage style) it has the names of all important cities and the information isn't too crowded so it's quite readable. The borders are clear and crisp which makes the map clear. However it is very deformed for a Mercator projection. Everything in the northern hemisphere is exaggeratedly enormous (Greenland looks as big as Africa which doesn't make sense). It's good to pin on it to show where you've been, but not to deepen your knowledge in geography. Not suitable for kids. Good quality print and glossy.
