The best Famotidine
I take 2 (10 mg) Famotidine a day plus my dog has to also take 1 a day. We go through a lot of these and I search these brand out each time. They are extra small and if need to be taken without water it doable. Has always been a good product with no issues at a good price

Works Great for Dogs and People Too
These work great as an antacid for dogs, as recommended by my vet. I give them to my dog every day, and her acid problems have been eliminated with no apparent side effects. What I did learn the hard way, that the vet did not tell me, is that they should be given one hour before a meal. If you give it with the meal, it significantly reduces the effect of the antacid. You could give it with a small treat, but I think the best way is to put it in a small slice of banana, as it would be absorbed faster that way. Be sure to use the right amount for the dogs weight. Do your research on that, or ask your vet. Proper dosage for my 55 lb. dog was 30 mg daily, so I use a 20 mg tab an hour before the morning meal, and a 10 mg tab an hour before the evening meal. The tablets are available in these 2 sizes. Update: I rarely get stomach acid but had it bad a couple days ago. I popped one of these and the stomach acid was cleared up in no time. I thought I might need more than one tablet because they are so small (maybe 1/3 the size of an aspirin), but the one tablet did the trick.

It works
Generic version of same dose (10mg) of brand-name Pepcid. Not maximum strength. No extra ingredients like in some of the "plus" or "complete" versions because these are given to my dog, per veterinarian's suggestion. I cut them in half, for a 5mg dose. Tiny pills, but it's doable, especially with care and a sharp pill cutter. And easy to give, thanks to pill pouches for dogs. Note: I'll soon give a review for the pill cutter I recently purchased here, the Johnbee Pill Cutter Splitter for Small and Tiny Pills & Larger Pills. And maybe for the cutter from a local store that I've used for years. Can I say the store name here? It has a red bullseye Target as its logo.

Good - but used for a different purpose
I had to switch brands because my usual brand was unavailable. I take these not as an acid reducer to help my stomach, but as an H2 blocker to help counteract my skin allergies. Yeah, it’s complicated. But as far as I can tell, these work just as well as the other brand I was using.

Small tablets and easy to take
These are really small, so they’re easy to take. I like that the bottle comes with so many since it’s hard to find bulk 10mg famotidine, especially USP. Nice to have a big supply on hand without having to constantly restock.
