I like that there are more than one chirp sound for the bird. Well-made and reasonably-hard to destroy.

This is a wonderful toy for cats. I got it for my grandkids cats for Xmas and they absolutely love them!

My little chihuahua loves the mouse. We had a learning curve as he wanted to bite down and I could hear his teeth on the plastic, but he learned. It's 5 stars in terms of he loves it, he plays with it on his own. Sometimes he wants to play fetch, but the fact it makes noise means he can entertain himself. 4 stars however, because disappointed that after 7 months the battery is dying. It no longer squeaks, it's a lower pitch not quite buzz instead. He's figured out its not right. However, it also doesn't stop when it's left untouched like usual. It's constant, not stopping which is quite annoying. Will buy again, just feel like battery didn't last very long. Wish battery could be replaced.

When I turned this cute little bird on straight out of the box, my napping kitty came running from the other room to see what it was. And that was it-- pure joy and entertainment followed as she played with it for about ten minutes before returning to her nap, seemingly content. I know from day one if my cat will like something (and I'm sure I'm not alone as a cat owner on this), and this toy is a hit if it got that great first response and wasn't ignored! Update: After only a few days of playing with this bird, my cat opened up the Velcro part and took out the mechanical part inside while I was sleeping. Her crying woke me up, and when I went to see what she was crying about I saw the destruction. She was okay and everything about the toy was intact, but now I will only let her play with this under supervision in case she can break open the machine part of it. She was sad it stopped moving I guess, for she was very concerned when I took it all away from her. She really likes it!

Dislikes: photo of supposedly flapping chirping bird makes it look 3 times larger than it truly is. The supposed flapping bird will fit in the palm of your hand. It is extremely small for the $16.99¢ price tag. Flapping wings, barely moves, chirping? What chirping? It sounds more like a very stifled duck quack, NOT A BIRD CHIRPING! And it is BARELY AUDIBLE! And the worst of it, is the cost, especially since I found this EXACT SAME flapping bird, chirping toy in one of our local pet stores for $5.99¢! Won't return since I'd lose half my money in return shipping fees for a toy that should never sell for over $17 with sales tax. Plus there is NO WAY to send it back in its original packaging that had to be ripped apart to even get the toy out. Just a sealed cellophane bag, not zip-loc, or any way of easy-opening. No real protection for the toy in the type shipping packaging used either, just a plastic sealed envelope. No, I wouldn't recommend this toy, and if I could give it a NEGATIVE RATING, it would garner a -10★ Rating. Don't waste your time, or money for these gigwi toys, they absolutely ARE NOT WORTH THE PRICE. Look for a better quality Animated toy with sound elsewhere. These ARE NOT IT!

In my title, I say "loved" because sadly, it didn't last. The on/off switch is situated underneath a flap of the cloth that makes up the exterior of the bird and I think the placement is kind of off because my cats were easily able to, I don't know, make it disappear or just break it off? So yeah, they really loved the toy. It captured their attention whether it was making sounds or not and now they just enjoy it a lot less because it's so quiet. We'll probably try to get another one and see if the same thing happens. Everything else was great, it charges easily and quick and it is a good size for the cats to play with and it's pretty soft except for the core but it doesn't inhibit play any. They were able to easily toss it up in the air. There is a small loop on the top of the toy and I got a piece of elastic type thread to tie it up to their cat tree, that way it would bounce when they played with it. Great concept for a cat toy!

Bought it for my cat, stolen by my dog. Before my cat even had a chance, my dog ran off with it. Cute chirping sounds that make your pet think it’s real. Tons of fun for you cat OR dog alike, and lots of laughs by us pet owners. Will likely be ordering another for the cat. My dog LOVES IT!!

This bird is so perfect for this stray cat we ended up with ,the quality is very good the charged is red when charger, so easy to tell when it’s needed. Not being cat people we enjoy watching him play. We recommend this .
