The real deal! I read a few reviews saying these were fakes after I'd paid for them and thought "uh oh!" but they're definitely genuine and the quality is fantastic. I already own a couple of the face brushes for putting on foundation and powder so thought I'd give the eye brushes a go (they're a lot more expensive in Boots etc).I've never owned expensive eye brushes before and thought these would be a good mid-option rather than go straight to Mac/Sigma etc. These are BRILLIANT. I cannot get over how much of a difference they made to putting on my eyeshadow and liner.The eyeshadow in particular went on a treat and blended so easily. I've never tried Mac brushes but this set essentially comes in at about £2 a brush and I can't imagine brushes that are 5+ times the price would be 5 times as good. You can probably tell I'm impressed haha!

This are a great set of makeup brushes. They are easy to use, they each have the name for what the brush is used for (although you can essentially mix and match) and the brushes are easy to hold, as they are not too thick or thin. Which gives you great control of the brush. There are various other brushes made by this brand that I have and this set does not disappoint especially as they also come at a fantastic price point.The brushes themselves are very soft and blend your makeup seamlessly. These brushes are indeed a joy to use.

I've bought two of these starter kits from Real Techniques as the quality is really quite fantastic given the price. I've had my brushes for a while and they have kept their shape and haven't shed - even after washing them multiple times. The brushes are very soft and are comfortable to hold. I particularly like the base shadow brush and the deluxe crease brush as they do a really good job of blending shadows into the crease and making sure shadows blend well together. I also like the pixel point eyeliner brush as I use gel eyeliner and find that this works well for use with that. The accent brush is okay, nothing to rave about and I don't really use the brow brush as I don't fill in my eyebrows. The only reason I'm not leaving a 5/5 review is due to the fact that I don't get use out of all five brushes in the set, but I'm sure other people do. The case they come in is also handy, particularly if travelling with the brushes or for drying your brushes after washing them. I also like that the name and use for each brush is written on the side of them, this is a nice detail. My brushes arrived quickly, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again as I'm a fan of the Real Techniques range.

I came across this cosmetic brush kit on Amazon not having seen any of the You Tube pixiwoo videos - though I may watch some now. This is a great set of brushes for eye make-up application. With aluminium handles, they are extremely lightweight and the nylon wallet can be niftily bent back to form a stand which holds firm by means of a simple adjustable toggle. The brushes are excellent; I have tended to buy cosmetic brushes individually in the past, steering away from sets which have either been overall poor quality or have included brushes I have no use for. All the brushes here are useable - though a couple of them will be used more often. I have already sent off for the brow/lash comb - also on Amazon. Another well thought out design feature of this kit are the two wider black elasticated bands opposite the brushes which can be used to store other brushes, whether they be RT or not. The RT brushes have a kind of rubberized coating to the lower 2" of the handles - looks stylish but functional too as it makes them less slippery to hold; I think it may also improve the balance of the brush in the hand. The case is about 7" tall so be aware that any longer brushes you decide to store in it will stick out of the top. I reckon this kit is the best on the market currently in terms of the brushes and the case - very easy to use and light for travel. This kit would be ideal for a beginner with make-up - simply because the quality and suitability of brushes used can influence the application technique and the finished look so much but anyone who loves make-up and playing around with it is likely to appreciate the RT kit. Recommended.

These brushes are excellent and they have earnt their reputation becasue of this. I have now had my brushes for a total of three years! After a mishap with some awful brush cleaner, I decided to just wash them with baby shampoo and warm water. This works very well.The brushes feel like they are a quality product, with a purple metal casing and white tipped soft bristles. They are extremely comfortable in the hand and there is a great range of different brushes in the set.They come in a black case which is great if you are on the go, but I have to admit, I find it too much to put hem in everyday so I keep all my brushes together.I could not recommend these highly enough. Not only are they a great product that will last your years to come, they are also at a decent price with that in consideration!If you have found my review helpful, please click the button!
