Nice one, not bad
Good smell and little improvement on beard. Use it regularly to get the result.

At this point I have only used it a few times since receiving it, but so far it seems to work really well. My beard does feel cleaner and it has been markedly less dry. The quality of the product seems high end, the lather is nice, the smell is refreshing but not overpowering, and I like the fact that it is made with mostly natural ingredients. I have had a beard for years now, but recently started getting dry skin/dandruff from it. My wife gave me anotehr brand of beard wash and balm for Christmas, but it smelled awful. I suppose it was supposed to be woodsy or outdoorsy, but it smelled like tobacco or cigarettes to me. I ended up just tossing it out. So I decided that I would give a different dedicated beard wash a try. I was already using a natural beard balm and a wax at times, but didn't think too much about a dedicated beard wash. This product was on a few "best of lists" so I figured I would give it a shot. So far so good. Even though I have only used it about 3 times so far, my beard does seem better for it. As of now, I would recommend it to anyone that wants to have a cleaner beard and doesn't want a heavy product feel or smell.

As someone who truly enjoys both beards and grooming (I'm always trying different grooming products), I can say that this is a high quality product, and very much so worth every dollar. If you're growing a beard, it's very important to keep it healthy. One of those things you can do is use a high quality beard oil. There are tons of beard oils on the market, especially as of recently with the growing trend. This can make it difficult in choosing an oil to start with (I have a couple different ones myself for different occasions). This oil blend is a wonderful place to start as it's a blend of two of the best oils you can use for your hair, and doesn't have anything else in it. This item has no added fragrance to it other than the natural smell of the oils. This oil blend has a slightly sweet, light smell to it. It is not overwhelming and after a few minutes you won't notice it at all. If you're looking for a product that is one of the best currently available, this is it. It will help keep your hair soft and manageable. I am someone with an extremely curly, coarse beard that feels like steel wool if I don't care for it properly, and this product helps keep it soft. Start with this if you're new to beard oils. **For best results (my personal opinion)** 1. Take a shower. Once or twice a week, condition your beard in the shower with coconut oil (if you search "coconut oil" in all departments on Amazon, the top product is what I use). Also, buy a dedicated beard soap that you use once a week only (no need to use it more, a thorough wash with warm water will keep your beard clean and the soap will remove some of the oils that keep the beard healthy). I use one sold by Brooklyn Grooming, although a little pricier it lasts forever especially since you're only using it once a week (lather just a tiny amount in hands and then apply to beard, never lather your beard with the soap bar itself). 2. After shower, towel dry your hair and beard. First, use two drops of this beard oil and apply to your hair (yes, on top of your head) and massage in thoroughly. Beard oil also helps keep your head hair healthy and conditioned, I promise it'll be softer than ever before. After that, use ~3 drops of oil and apply to your beard. Massage in thoroughly, starting at the front and working your way down, and then running your fingers up from behind. After you've applied the oil, it is VERY HELPFUL if you use a natural boar's hair brush. I promise you it will make a difference. First, brush your head hair, and then thoroughly brush your beard. A boar's hair brush will build up oils over time from your hair and beard, and help spread the oils evenly across your hair and beard. It also helps keep your hair clean, so in between use of the beard soap it's not anything to worry about. 3. Do your best not to touch your beard too often throughout the day. Feel free to use a touch up brushing or combing if needed. Enjoy!

What it does for me: What it does okay: Softens my beard. It does not make it feel like microfleece or anything but it definitely is noticeably softer when I use it daily and really make sure I rub it thoroughly in What it does well: It gives my beard a nice shine. Usually throughout the day. What it does really well: It kills the itch. What it does really really well: It does not smell bad at all. It is oily but not greasy if that makes any sense. The best application is straight out of shower do not towel dry your beard just get your shirt on (avoid any staining) and rub the oil into your beard. I put small drops on 3 of my fingers then rub my fingers together and then aggressively rub it into my beard and then I shape it with my fingers. The oil will come out onto your fingers if you rub your beard at all but it is not a greasy feeling by any means actually I have noticed in general with use of this product that my hands have not been nearly as dry as they are getting the oiled treatment as well. Tip: If you are using this with a beard wax or shaping creams make sure you apply the oil first and then only apply the wax or cream to areas of your beard that need shaping. The oil needs to be rubbed in to the skin and throughout the beard hairs. Do a basic shaping and then finish with the wax in just small areas that you need the shape. It also helps to rub into areas where you frequently shave to assist in any skin irritation. I shave my neck so I like to rub it into my neck as well after a shave. Overall a great product. Will be buying as long as I have a beard to buy it for.

I bough this to try another brand for beard wash. I saw the tea tree oil scent and gave it a shot (I really like the way tea tree oil smells). It takes a few days of washing with it, but I noticed a difference in beard softness when using this. Smell I was slightly disappointed in, it has a much stronger peppermint smell then the tea tree oil. Not bad, as it smells clean and fades to a subtle scent when out of the shower, but I was hoping for more tea tree oil then peppermint. Still, I was happy with it making my beard softer. Overall a good product and something I'd buy again.

Overall this product isn’t bad. It’s a beard wash, it does what it’s supposed to do and washes my beard. It smells good but the smell is very strong at the same time. When I put this on my face it invades my nostrils with tea tree mintiness. I’ve been using this about a week now and haven’t really found anything about the product itself to complain about. (The smell thing was a half-joke). Its easy to lather on and easy to rinse off. A little goes a long way, which I like. My biggest and only real complaint about this beard wash is the packaging. The bottle looks smaller in person than it does on amazon. Past that, the bottle is made from pretty thick and stiff plastic so it can be kind of hard to squeeze product out of it. If this had a pump type lid or a thinner plastic bottle that I could squeeze easier, it would be much better overall.
