Prairie View Industries SL436 Solid Ramp, 4 ft x 36 in, Aluminum

I bought this product due to its 800 lb rating. First - the good. It's SOLID. It's welded well, and two adults standing and bouncing on it yielded no give. Excellent! Non-skid is heavy-duty and better than expected. Wonderful! 3 stars because this was what I was buying - a solid heavy-duty ramp.Now the bad - I found mine had been drilled through accidentally, leaving a corner bent and sharp burrs on the mangled drill hole where I cut my hand. Super disappointed that this obvious manufacturing damaged product was sold like this. This is not a cheap ramp, so I expected it to at least not be sold already damaged. Very disappointing.More disappointment - shipped poorly packaged, and so another corner was bent during shipping. More damage. This is a large and heavy-ish (20 lbs, easy to handle, but big to ship) item, but was packaged in a single box, no padding or reinforced corners. This was shipped by Amazon, I can't blame an inexperienced 3rd party seller for poor shipping. My wheelchair guest is arriving in days, I'm not willing to ship it back for replacement - so I guess I will be keeping a damaged ramp.In summary - GREAT ramp, if you can get one that's not damaged.Maybe you should find a store where you can see it before you buy it instead of buying online... or find a similar product made by someone else.

While this likely isn't designed for why I bought it, I've been using it as a ramp so my dogs can easily come up a high step we have to our backdoor...they are getting older and struggle with the high concrete step. This is really well built and stable... my only advice is to pay close attention to the measurements and not the pictures on the product page. I think they are using a generic picture...so if you choose a larger size it doesn't really show you that size in the picture, but they do ship you the correct size.

I use this for my mother to get onto the porch. It is so sturdy! I can jump on it, and it does not give at all, and the non skid surface is perfect! Well worth the money!!!

Seems well built with full supports. Very lightweight and easy to install. I swapped out my old wooden ramp for this on my deck. 4inch rise 4 foot ramp easy to use. It does get warm in the Sun since it is metal, so keep that in mind.

I needed two 36" wide ramps to allow wheelchair access to our porch and house. I am very pleased with these ramps, as they are light weight as well as sturdy. Because they are made from aluminum they are light enough to easily set up or take down. Also, Amazon's price beat out other sites by a long shot.I would definitely recommend these ramps.

I am disappointed that I ordered two of these on the same day at the same time and only one arrived. I can not do anything with only one. I am trying to make it possible for a wheelchair bound adult get into and out of his home. When I did the order I was under the impression that both would arrive at the same time.

The ramp is very well made with many aluminum ribs supporting it. The box that the ramp was shipped in was in poor shape. The bottom edge was torn open but no damage to ramp. Top edge was taped very poorly. Since bottom was open (and wet) the safety video disc and steel pins were missing. I give the ramp five stars but shipping package only two stars. I do need the pins to hold the ramp in place.

This is super sturdy while also being easy to move. We bought it to put over the stairs coming into our apartment for my daughter. It’s easy to wheel her chair up and down while also being easy to walk on.
