Q: Will this fit my 2018 Toyota Tacoma sr5 double cab?

It should. I put it on my 2016 sr5 double cab with 5 foot bed. It fit nice great product.

Q: Can this also be folded up by anybody or does it have any sort of lock to keep it from opening?

The cover does not have a lock. If your tailgate locks you can't open it. There is an optional lock available if your tailgate does not lock.

Q: Will this cover be able to withstand New England winters, such as snowstorms that can dump 20 inches or more of snow on top of it??

For me last winter work perfect.
