Thank you for your question. Per manufacturer spec, this phosphoric solution diluted to 10%.

Q: What's the shelf life?

I didn't make this material, but as a chemist, phosphoric acid is very stable for years at room temp.

Q: Could this be used for rust converter?

I think you mean passivating SS (stainless steel)? Various acids can be used to passivate SS, but that would be post rust removal. Do some googling, there are other products to get, that when used with scrub pads can clean and passivate SS at the same time. I don't think you want phosphoric, but citric acid. Or a citric/ascorbic acid blend. Citrisurf 77 is available here and at other places. That is what you want for rust removal and passivation of SS.

Q: How much to add to make 8 oz of cola?

I would use citric acid instead, for soft drinks.
