Q: I'm sort of confused on these neuropathy supplements. i bought ala makes me nauseous. is benfotiamine better than ala?

I take 900 to 1200mg benfotiamine, 1200mg alpha lipoic acid and 300- 500mg CoQ10. I was very debilitated and could hardly walk. This has almost taken all of my symptoms away. My doctor just recommended I add 30g of L-glutamate a day since I am just starting chemo which makes neuropathy worse. Try raising your dose. These vitamins don't work for everyone so if you don't get improvement in a week, stop. I did find raising the doses did get me relief though.

Q: The smaller bottle shows benfopure, the larger one doesn't. do they both contain benfopure, please?

I believe IF it is not shown it is not in there. Vitamin B is the only effective treatment or supplement I have had work for me. Combinations of vitamin B are given different names for reference.Sadly it is not sold on amazon any longer

Can only relate my own experience. I take this for neuropathy in my feet, and am on 60 units of glucose a day. I started with 1 dose of 50 m of benefotimie 2 x a day, am and PM. I gradually increased the dosage to 150 once a day. The effect is not immediate. Commit to at least 3 months. Personally, I have taken the 300 dosage for at least 5 yrs with total relief.
