I ordered this for a video baby monitor. It functions as intended. I knew I wouldn’t be able to keep monitor on for any length of time due to it being only 900mah but stays charged so I can turn it on and check for brief intervals.

We have a 8 year old Motorola baby monitor first purchased when our first grandchild was born and we babysat her in our house. We used it sparingly since then. And of course the original battery can no longer hold a charge. Now we need to use it again when we babysit our new grandbaby and we don't want to spend much on the battery or buy a new monitor. We found this battery online and the price is so reasonable and inexpensive. Well we had our doubts but when we put that in and replaced the old one. Viola, it works perfectly and is charging again. We don't need the charging wire attached to the monitor anymore. WONDERFUL!!

Definitely worth every penny for us! We have a Motorola mbp36 something video baby monitor and have been using it for 2.5 years. It recently started dying off the charger after only about 5 minutes. With another baby on the way I figured that should be fixed. I picked this one and it fits perfectly. I charged it overnight and then did a test. I turned it on late morning (about 10 am) and left it on all day. I periodically check in on my daughter at nap time but other than that the screen stays off. It didn't give me the red light or charge beeps until after 7 pm! That's 9+ hours. Well more than I'll ever need. Also, in my experience, if you get the red light while the screen is on, turning it off will prolong the life a bit longer. I charged it just until it was fully charged and took it off the charger. With normal everyday use (about a 2- 3 hour nap and a few hours after bed time) I haven't had to charge this since that charge session. I've had it about a week and only 1 battery bar has gone down. Way better than the original. I am thoroughly impressed and a happy mama.

Great battery replacement for the one that came with our unit - we finally can unplug AND use it for more than 2 minutes. The battery fits and works perfectly with the unit, and the only reason that I did not give a 5 star is that I just wish that it charge would last longer - about 45 min to 1 hour and a half depending on use (screen on or off). But for the price, there isn't much we could complain. Shipped and arrived fast. Would recommend and buy again.

This battery works great for our Motorola MBP36 monitor. The original battery that came with the unit lasted over a year. I replaced it via Motorola's customer service and that one lasted over a year before struggling to hold a charge. We didn't mind keeping it connected to the adapter, but once we had another kid it was clear we needed to have the monitor unit be more portable. This battery did the trick and I've forgotten how nice it is to being able to carry around the parent unit everywhere throughout my day. Hopefully this one last me another year, and then I'll be happy to replace it. It's a great price for the length of life in the battery.

The plug doesn’t fit Motorola MBP36SPU. We had to modify the plug by re-wiring with the old battery. However, battery seems to be working well after the modification.

Ordered this battery as a replacement for our Motorola baby monitor. Charged an ample amount of time and battery refuses to hold a charge. Battery also fits extremely snug inside the battery compartment unlike the originals.Will end up having to go through the process of returning a defective battery.Will change rating if we receive a new one and it works as it should.It should also he mentioned that I have purchased replacement batteries for this Motorola baby monitor before and never had this issue.

Really great, no issues so far. We got the camera and monitor for free, because it was assumed to be defect. It appeared to be always charging, and the monitor would just show the camera while plugged in. I thought it could possibly be a battery issue as well. This battery was very inexpensive, $8 versus a hundred for a new monitor? Worth giving it a try. And I am happy I did!
