HawkeEndurance ED 8x32 Binocular - Green

After weeks of looking at reviews, magnifications etc I purchased this rather than a Opticron 8 x 32 which in itself had won a best small bino. award and had great reviews but was made of abs plastic. I remember a quote "pay as much as you can afford on binos". So I paid a bit more and purchased these which have ED glass are small and no plastic body and has excellent reviews. I was not disappointed, the image is superb almost HD like with sharp no fringes on edges of birds/reeds. Well made and quite compact, the flip down optic covers are a good idea, and the focus is effortless and smooth, good case supplied. The dioptric adjustment is firm and stays where it was adjusted to. The image is bright and sometimes brighter than with the naked eye - no need for the next size up the 42 in my opinion. Great compact size which is what I wanted, and superb image quality.

I bought these binoculars for a safari and I am so pleased that I did. Without these I would not have been able to view half the animals I saw. The clarity was amazing and I was able to see so much detail, I would highly recommend. They were comfortable to hold and small enough to fit in my bag, they come with a storage case, and strong strap so can easily be worn around the neck.

I have had these for two years and they have slowly "disintegrated" .At first they seem like the perfect small binocular. lightweight etc..But they are poorly made or else they are not designed to be used other than casually.The front lens caps fall off and are easily lost.Tiny screws fall out of front lens and also are lost- resulting in the lens almost hanging on.The rubber coating bubbles and is coming off.I can only focus using one barrel on the right side, so i have to close my left eye to focus. the Diopter makes no difference..I have met people with similar issues.. Anyone I meet in Irish birding circles I advise them to avoid Hawke

Great quality optics. Very sharp with easy control focus roller. Diopter adjustment knob is stiff which is great as it doesn’t drift off your setting too easily. Screw out eye relief spacers are solid and do not fall back onwards during use. Easily fit in jacket pocket for going on a walk or to a sports match etc. All in all, a great purchase and value for money.

Not happy with the product: the left lens was loose in the binoculars.Not happy with the service: I had to pay 20 euro to return the product, and this is not covered by Amazon (so much for free return)
