Terrible disappointment. Seller apparently doesn't quality check items before shipping. Either that, or this pen and box are very cheaply made. The box arrived broken in half, no way to close the box to protect the pen. The fountain pen was out loose in the package, and this is most likely what caused the damage to the nib. Can't even try to write with the pen. Warning about seller who may not do quality checking of the packaging before shipping the items. This is disappointing, as I was looking forward to using this pen.

Typically, I find myself scouring reviews to get a sense of if something will suit my tastes based on the reactions of fellow consumers, but admittedly, I rarely write my own reviews - good or bad. But I was compelled to write one for this product.I am a fan of fountain pens. They are unique, they're old-fashioned and frankly, they are elegant. I have, on a few occasions, used them as a talking piece. What strikes me about this pen, above all else, is the feel of it. It has a perfect weight, which makes effortless the flow of ink onto paper, which is a magical moment for any pen. The tooth that it creates with the page it is writing on is haptically pleasant and the flow is even. The nib is lovely and the wooden handle is simple and sweet.I've only written briefly with it as I am compiling a leather travel journal fit for such a timeless writing tool. I suspect I will be buying from this company again in the future.

Pen came packaged nicely with no shipping issues. Pen and box look classy and very well made, does not feel or look cheap.I purchased the recommended ink cartridges and it writes beautifully, feels very comfortable to write. I’m left-handed so this fountain pen has helped my cursive writing tremendously. Price is great for the quality you get. 5 Stars!!!!!

Love the deisgn. It looks very fancy and expensive. It comes without the cartridges tho. But it's fine for the price. And I've found it photographs beautifully too.
