While this trainer is a bit larger than I would have liked, it is really fantastic. The app is easy to use, and it is a lot of fun to do. Even without the app or phone, you can use this trainer to do your own plank workout. It is sturdy, yet challenging to do. Was worried this would seem gimmicky, but it isn't. As a marathoner who does a ton of core work, this was a good purchase for me.

When I bought this I thought it was going to be another one of those gimmicky workout things I buy, use once, and never touch, all with the best of intentions and dreams. I have to say, this pleasantly surprised me! Not that I had super low expectations, but they definitely weren't high. I LOVE this thing. Why do I love it?: -I'm competitive so if you add a scoring system or a leader board, I buy in -It's comfortable, not super awkward, and is just the right height off the ground (for me) to use without the pain that typically comes with these types of things -It adds just that little bit of mental stimulation I need when working out to keep me interested -It's challenging! It's not so hard that I can't do it, and not so difficult that I don't want to do it. It really does hurt in the way a good workout is supposed to hurt What don't I like about it? -It's huge and doesn't store super well due to it's shape (not a big deal for me, but home workout gear should be easy to store, right?) -The app is not amazing. While it definitely adds a layer to a typically boring plank workout, I would like to see a lot more game types! That's it. All in all, the size and poor app do not take away from the fact that if planking is your game, this is a great way to do it!
