Not fast as expected

I was looking for an extender to extend WIFI signals to 10 further meters and it did the job well. Easy to install.

This was easy to setup, press the WPS button on both the extender and the router, et viola! Repeat the process if you have dual band (2.4 ghz and 5 ghz), and it's all set. It needs to be positioned between the router and the blind spot, this is important, as putting it in another blind spot will not give the required outcome. I found a good spot by walking around with my phone, and getting the best signal between the two areas. I then plugged it in there (I had to use an extension cable, for optimum signal), after setting it up next to the router. This actually gave me the signal that I required (excellent and good, constantly), in the area I spend most of my time (laptop, phone and telly, all connected). I am more than satisfied with this product, and would recommend to anyone with signal blindspots. I even purchased a used item (good as new, a return I presume), which as stated, was as good as new. Next day delivery, good price, accurate description. What more could a customer want. Oh yeah, something that works...One proviso, I tried the app (Nighthawk), which led to frustration. It seemed to create problems, so I deleted it and continued with the already working set-up. Not recommended.

Bought this to help eliminate weak signal in some of our rooms, especially upstairs. Up to now it appears to be working fine and was so, so easy to set up unlike some other extenders I had to send back.

I bought this to improve the WiFi signal to my garage cam which is about 30ft from my router. I have looked at a lot of boosters but chose this because my last place of work used Netgear boosters with great effect. This is easy to set up and works perfectly. I now have a good signal to my cam instead of a weak one. Job done.

You'll notice this wifi extender has a few bad reviews; this is why I've decided to buy one, used, for half the price.Impeccable shipment and packaging as always, item arrived and it's now a week I'm using it, and I'm also very happy about it: fast and reliable.Bad reviews are mostly referring to the impossibility to set it up; that was not true for me: while the setting up process can be improved, the wizard drives you through all the phases, just take the patience to carefully read what is written on the screen, step by step, don't rush in it, it'll take 10-15 min.When you buy used, reset it first! Hold reset button until an orange light is blinking and then release it, after a minute or two you'll be ready tk go.
