It is difficult to seal with a beard. And is you are running, the mask wants to slip down off of your face

With a single valve (pre-installed) The switch with valve gives 2000 feet of elevation on the first position, and increase on the same amount with next position. Position: •1 2000feet •2 4000feet •3 6000feet •4 8000feet The switch without a valve gives an extra 500feet of elevation and increase with each position. Position: •1 500feet •2 1000feet •3 1500feet •4 2000feet If you use the mask with filters only. Use of one switch gives you the next altitude: •1 2500feet •2 5000feet •3 7500feet •4 10000feet When use the second switch with 2 filters •2 12500feet •3 15000feet •4 17500feet The mask has no option to use it without altitude at all

Q: Then can I buy the mask now and buy the filter later separately? Would they fit into the older version?
