Q: Is this product being discontinued? It appears to be out of stock everywhere.

Per conversation with Vanicream as of July 2022 RE: Nationwide Outage: Vanicream’s Z-bar manufacturer in Canada having problems. Their best estimate of 2-3 Months/October 2022. They say Vanicream Dandruff Shampoo is essential same formula but in liquid form and can be used on face. Curology also recommend Nobel Formula Zinc Bar Argan version (sold on Amazon). Have not tried either options so have no opinion on either. Just hope this helps get you through outage. Q: What are the list of ingredients?

Active ingredient: Pyrithione Zone 2%. Inactive ingredients: Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Stearic Acid, Sodium Stearate, Water, Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate, Paraffin, White Petroleum, Sorbitol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Propylene Glycol, Ceteareth-20, Simethicone, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-30 Stearate, Sorbic Acid.

Q: if i had a slight stingy/burning sensation after using it on the face does it mean it's working or the opposite ?

That often happens when first starting a zinc pyrithione product and should subside after a week or so of use. You might also need to use it every other day until your skin gets used to it. Allergies can be thing with ZP but is very very rare.

Q: Should I use this if it smells? Smells like rancid coconut, but I don't know what it's supposed to smell like.

The bars I have received do not have an unpleasant smell. I would return them.
