A shame ! Come completely open and empty ?

I'm basing my review on their old formula. I know, I know, that cliche. But let me tell y'all something - the old Andalou products were amazing. Their old Volume Shampoo was shockingly potent, despite it's reasonable price. I never had so much volume in my coarse Asian hair. And of course, all good things always come to an end, and now we're stuck with a new formula that just leaves my hair flat. It's now like any other shampoo in the market.I really did resist writing this review because I thought I was crazy. But I was lucky enough to keep one of the old bottles (Lavender, Biotin) and yes, I can confirm that they've changed the ingredients. And now the magic is gone.And the worst part is the new designs of these white bottles - so rote and generic. The new bottles and formulas are a total indication that the company probably changed the upper management, and now they're just cutting corners. That's a damn shame.

I’ve purchased this shampoo for years, maybe 3-4. The last two bottles I’ve received since they re-formulated, the bottom -20% of the bottle has been completely unusable. It’s like they added a wax to their formula and it separates and settles on the bottom. The color goes from somewhat transparent to white opaque and my hair is sticky and waxy when I try to dry it. Guess I’m done with this brand since I don’t enjoy paying to only use 80% of a bottle.

I am so disappointed!! I have used this shampoo for many years and have LOVED it. Usually, it comes out of the bottle in a clear, thick, gel-like consistency and lathers up beautifully. My hair is then naturally clean, looks beautiful, and is easy to fix. HOWEVER, my recent order/shipment from amazon is a WATERY, DILUTED mess! It comes out like water, slips quickly through your fingers, and is almost impossible to actually get onto your head (because it is like water) to try to get any lather at all. SOMETHING IS VERY WRONG WITH these two bottles!!!! I went to our local health store and purchased a bottle there, and it is the perfect consistency that I have been accustomed to! DON'T BUY THESE SHAMPOOS ONLINE FROM AMAZON!!!!

I have super thick hair and it's always been shiny and healthy. I only bought it because it was rose-scented and wanted a nice smelling shampoo. I started noticing a few weeks ago clumps of my hair falling out and it's now thin at the top of my hairline, my scalp is visibly noticeable. I am in my mid-30's so I didn't think it was age-related yet. I went to my regular doctor, and an Endocrinologist and bloodwork and tests came back fine. I thought I was losing my mind! Then I went to a stylist and she asked had I switched shampoo/conditioner recently. Then it hit me what it was. I had switched to Andalou Naturals about 6 weeks prior. I thought it was healthy because it's "All Natural." It is not. It has ruined my hair. I am now on minoxidil and supplements trying to fix the damage this product caused. It doesn't even smell good. Please avoid this at all costs. It's not worth the risk.

My hair has never bounced back after chemo treatments five years ago. The top was thinning and, even with a short cut, my bangs weren't growing in length, staying the same for months and month. I have switched to sulfate-free products and tried shampoo after shampoo. After using one bottle of this shampoo and adding in the conditioner, I can see a definite difference. My hair is thicker, my bangs are growing, and I don't have to add a microfiller to the top. I highly recommend Andalou Naturals Argan Stem Cell Age Defying Shampoo and Conditioner.
