Broadcasts Strong Clear Signal, very easy to operate.
This thing works great - I use it to create an FMbroadcast signal from various items I have including a CD Boombox player and my iPhoneplaying music or any internet broadcast / podcast.I use the 7 Watt output mode and that broadcasta clear and precise FM signal (you can broadcast onany frequency on the FM Spectrum you choose )I have found the range for reception on my car radio to be about 2 miles from my house and livein a relatively flat area. I have not tried the 2 Wattoutput mode as I am happy with the stronger signal output as I live an a very Rural, unpopulated area. I have multiple FM radios all over my propertyin differ areas , some perhaps as far as 100 Yards from the transmitter and the broadcast quality isexceptionally strong & clear ( in the 7 Watt broadcast setting ) I’ve been using it dailey , allday , for about 6 months now and it’s workingflawlessly. It wil be interesting to see how long it last ls ( many years I hope ?) The build quality of the actual device appears to be quite high withan aluminum housing , LED display screen andfully articulated adjustable antenna. I very happywith this unit and if it’s lasts me many years of use,all the better.

Perfect for amateur broadcasting, but won't sound "pro quality"
I will start by saying I'm using this for an amateur hobby radio station, so your mileage may vary depending on your intended purpose. TLDR: It's a great value for starters, amateurs, and basic needs like church / drive-in broadcasts, and you should buy it if you're just trying to get a simple signal out there without sounding like an iHeart station. This review also doesn't speak to the included microphone, as I'm not using it for my purposes.PROS:- Fantastic transmission range. Possibly even too much (see the final "con" for more on this).- VERY bright and full sound even at the edge of the broadcast range!- Easy to set up and operate; you'll be on the air in 2 minutes tops.- Takes the guesswork out of sound processing for amateurs, as it seems to include necessary pre-emphasis and other minor adjustments needed to combat FM noise and signal loss. Just plug in your raw sound, set the volume and maybe a slight EQ adjustment, and you'll have an "acceptable" FM quality! (Won't sound the same as the "big boys," but it's not meant to for the price.)CONS:- Setting the volume is a trial-and-error process, so have a good quality radio nearby to test levels when you first power on. Scan the dial a little to compare volumes with nearby stations. It's VERY easy to distort the sound on this unit, but it's equally easy to have it inaudibly low, which isn't good when you're competing with FM noise. The good news is once you set it the way you want it, you'll probably never need to touch it again.- The signal processing I mentioned as a "pro" above will actually be a "con" if you want to set this up on any kind of audio processing chain (either software or hardware). You'll spend a LOT of time tinkering with your settings to make sure you're not double-processing and ending up with crushed/overcompressed sound. Again, a non-issue if you're plugging in simple, raw audio from a computer or phone.- Questionable whether the full-power transmission is within FCC Part 15 regulations, so American amateur broadcasters, use this at your own risk, and only on an otherwise unused frequency in your area. I recommend starting on "Low" power, and only turning it up if you're absolutely not getting the distance you want. If you MUST use high power, turn off the transmitter's power when you're not actively broadcasting... and don't air anything offensive at all. Fines for FM broadcasting misconduct are STEEP, so don't get caught breaking the rules.

Test it! Before putting it to use, test it. Make sure it works.
(Update:)Got a replacement and tested it again. Doesn't come in on the lower frequencies, only static unless I'm touching the antenna. But on the higher frequencies it works good, and comes in clear. So I'll have to be mindful not to override any pre-existing licensed stations. Tested in high and low power, same thing. Doesn't interfere with my wi-fi or other things anymore either so that's a plus. We'll see how it goes from here...(First Order:)Right out of the box. Doesn't work. Playing from my bedroom, testing with the truck in the driveway (40 feet), no music, just silence. Tried it from the back yard (100-ish feet, kind of got something, but a lot of static and the music was cutting in and out through the static. Tested on multiple frequencies, all had the same result. AND! Upon powering on, it killed my wi-fi, turned on a light you have to touch to turn on, and powered on my tv, all at the same time. This is BS, it said reliable with clear audio, and I am nothing but disappointed.

Works great!
We created a video of skits from people at our church and then put it together for a 40 minute movie which we showed as a drive-in movie. We offered Covid safe pre-packaged popcorn and hot chocolate. 200 people stayed in their cars to watch the movie. It was great! Everyone was able to hear from any point in the very large parking lot at our church and in fact we broadcast past the neighbourhood a bit.

So far so good.
For my purposes, I only want it to go as far as my property's limits. Changing the transmitter to Low Power, I find that it barely goes to the edge of the property driveway, which is exactly what I want. Using a 1/4" to headphone-jack Y cable, I can send anything from my mixing board throughout the property. I don't need nor want the 2 mile radius because I live in a crowded neighborhood, so the low powered option is nice and suits my needs.

Works Great - Not FCC Rule Part 15 Certified for Unlicensed Use
While this unit is easy to set up and works great, it's not legal in the US to operate unlicensed. For that you need a transmitter that is "FCC Rule Part 15 Certified". Those cost about 4X as much and don't work nearly as well as this unit. I spent the money to get legal because the fines are stiff otherwise.

Works as advertised.
This little unit works as advertised. The sound is clear and strong and it's very easy to set up and use. Would like to have a better audio in jack, maybe XLR or RCA jacks as opposed to the mini plug, but minor issue.

Better than expected.
Very nice package! As a former ham radio operator, I am really impressed. Very easy to set up, no instructions needed. Quality of transmittion is five by five. Great buy!
