My 5 year old is not physically sturdier of the boys. The tail is heavy and he didn't enjoy it as it became a drag. Though my 9 year old enjoyed it as it wrapped around nicely. So may be it is for slightly grown ups.

Can't fault this, it's really good and has wire through the middle so you can position it. We actually bought it for a scarecrow project and it did really well including surviving 2 weeks outside in the rain.

Length is good. I took out the metal bit and stuffing (it didnt work well with me), but if you do cosplay where you need your tail to be in certain position, it will be perfect.Expected it to be a little bit more fluffy, but i love it, i wear it everyday.

The color of tail much lighter than on the picture, tail more whiter. Return it as I needed grey tail for wolf character.
