Do the regular 5-star and the gold 5-star have a vanilla scent?

I use the five star with SPF 30 and it does have a very mild pleasant vanilla scent. I am not aware of a specific Blistex call "gold", but the five star product is in a gold colored tube.

What is the expiration date? I don't want to buy 12 if they expire in 6 months.

I purchased a lot of 12 and received them on November 2017. The individual boxes have a expiration date of November 2018. So depending on how often you apply and how many people are using the product you have a complete year of use.
