I can’t reach into the washing machine easily from my chair, now that the top of my spine is fused. This is the perfect tool for the job.It took me ages to find something that is small, lightweight and easy to use - my hands aren’t great.I use this at home and put it in my handbag to go shopping. Getting stuff off shelves from a wheelchair is hard when you have to be careful your joints don’t dislocate and there’s so much you can’t reach. This helps with things I can, or almost can reach.For everything else I can’t reach I use the handle end of my walking stick (as it’s not been on the floo and I can sanitise the handle) to drag stuff off shelves or have to wait for help.

It is very handy but isn’t heavy duty, it wouldn’t even hold a small can of beans or the tv remote.

This product is excellent. It is like the longer pick-up wands but is more like an extension of your own hand and is absolutely marvellous for picking up articles you may drop whilst sitting down when using the longer wands is awkward and clumsy. I keep it by me all the time and can honesty say it is absolutely well worth its weight in gold. (My hands are not able to grasp easily hence this little tool is invaluable to me).

No good for reaching higher items

I can grab things just out of reach 😌

It broke on the same day as arrived, landed in the bin. Waste of money.

I use these to get dressed, I am disabled and these are worth every penny
