Simply Fido Leo 10-Inch Brown Lion Squeakers Dog Toy

Super cute and I love that it is made from organic fabric! Being made from organic fabric is the only reason I bought it; I don't want my dogs chewing on pesticide laden fabric! However, I still washed it before giving it to my dogs and it held up fine in a front loader!Great for our little dogs (10 lbs), and was perfectly intact for over a year... However, I would not buy this for a larger dog. A friend's larger dog (60+ lbs) stayed with us, and in 5 minutes he chewed the tag off and ripped a hole in the seam. I can stitch it back up, so more life left in it :) I paid under six on warehouse deals, but twelve plus is too high in my opinion!

I've been a long-time purchaser of simply fido toys, specifically because the stuffing they USED to use was safe, easily digestible, and unlike any other toy on the market. They have since switched to the cheap stuffing you find in a $3 toy, and I no longer trust my dog with them. I confirmed the manufacturing change by complaining to the company and received a personal response from the Managing Director. While I understand the business decisions that led to this, it is indeed disappointing. I also notified my local pet store who had originally turned me on to Simply Fido for their safety and quality, and they had not been informed of the material switch. I promptly bought up all available "old style" toys and will have to wait for another brand to pick up the market share Simply Fido is leaving behind (me).Simply Fido: If you're reading this, give your customers options before degrading your product while still charging a premium price. I would've paid twice as much without hesitation to ensure the safety of my pet. Taking the cheap manufacturing route not only sacrificed quality, but lost you a long-time customer.

I agree with the previous review....I only gave it a 1 star because I had to put something...in my opinion Amazon should not allow this product to be sold. I have purchased so many Simply Fido and have been extremely happy, however this new batch I just purchased for our poodles was garbage...the 10 inch brown lion with squeakers lasted 10 minutes and the neck split open only to find stuffing I didn't recognize as simply fido...so you make a great toy people buy it you cut corners keep the price the same seams rip and there is not enough fabric to stitch it closed. I would have paid twice as much had you kept to your promise of stuffing, etc....it just proves to me people are willing to cheat other people and perhaps even endanger them for profit...Amazon please post this and make Simply Fido admit to their omissions....

My dogs LOVE this!! There's a whole collection of different animals. I got a bunch for my friends & families dogs. After reading up on "New Materials" in dog toys it scared me. Research it yourself and you will see what I'm talking about. So happy there's a organic cotton line of dog toys out there for my most loyal friends. Now I'm not worried if they digest any of the material by accident.

Love these dog toys, I find they rip a little easier then the average dog toy but my dog is very small so they last for us. I would recommend!

My dog carries his "baby" all around the house - all day long (unless he has it tucked under his head as he sleeps).

My shih tzu loves it, and it's nice to know she's not chewing on chemicals when she plays with it
