Works like a charm and delivered in two days!
One of two pendant lights was randomly turning on and off (mostly off). Once I finally got off my butt to troubleshoot (years later), I found that there wasn't any AC current coming out of the light's transformer - so I looked up the replacement. It was for a Canopy Transformer 50 watt EE055. The only place I could find that had this part (easy coast area, I'm west coast) must still be in the early twentieth century. They never answered their phone and it took 5 days (including Saturday and Sunday) to get back to me through email. Long story short, it would have taken weeks to get the part because I would have had to pay through snail mail first before they would ship it to me.LUCKILY I found this transformer and it met the specifications for the part I needed. I ordered it on Friday and got it two days later on Sunday morning (USPS). It cost me half as much almost, plus free prime shipping. Installed it and presto! So far so good and it's nice to finally see the light ON. The company amazon goes through for this product has their act together. THANK YOU third party vendor and Amazon - Great teamwork.I'm glad I didn't have to replace both lights as it would have cost me at least a hundred dollars to buy new lights and I really like the original lights.

Fixes Kichler Xenon
When we remodeled our kitchen a few years ago, we spent a pretty penny from a local lighting showroom on Kichler under counter xenon 12v lighting. In less than a year one of the lights would randomly wink out. Sometimes for days. With some struggle the show room replaced that light. A year later it went out again, and then all but one of the others exhibited the same problem over time. The problem: the transformers. This LET-60 is the perfect replacement at a fraction of the cost of a new fixture. All you need to do is remove a few screws to get to the interior of your light. Make note of roughly where the wires are stuffed so you can get it all fitted again, then untuck them all. Slide a knife under the old transformer and pry up to separate it from the double sided tape. Swap it out for the new LET-60 and stick it back down on the tape. Tuck and reassemble. All done for $14!

Great little unit
I purchased some low voltage lights for my new flag pole. I didn't know that they were low voltage and required a really expensive "power supply". Doing some research I discovered that I needed a 12vdc power supply/transformer and not that much wattage or amperage needed. I found this little fella and decided to give it a shot. It says for halogen lights but I'm using it on a LED flood and it works fine. I did a heat test for 24 hours under load and it didn't get hot and worked flawlessly. Now they might not recommend this but I ended up placing this in a weatherproof electrical box with the 12vdc LED threaded into the cover. Wired to a photocell and now I have a clean low voltage light on my house for my flag.

Fails in 30 seconds.
Runs for 30-40 seconds then causes the lights to flicker.I bought this to power 45 watts of LED lighting on a track light. The original power supply was 250w intended for Halogen lamps. When it died after 1 year, I decided I did not need another 250w power supply to run 45w of lights. This ballast seemed the perfect fit. After installing it in the fixture it turned on and just when I was getting excited for a job well done, it started to flicker.I removed bulbs, I replaced LED's with Halogens (watching the power level) and nothing solved it. I checked the temperature of the unit and it remained at room temperature.I want to return this defective unit but there is a no return policy. I bought another 60W ballast from a different vendor. I hope this will have a better result.

Lasted Only 3 Years
I'm not sure whether I reviewed this before or not, but the unit recently failed after 3 years of use. My other under-counter light fixtures have continued to operate without problem for close to 20 years. I've ordered and installed another manufacture's transformer and hope it will last longer than this one.

What you NEED to know if you think the unit you received is bad.
1- Unit will not output power unless there is a load on it. (the lamp)2- Even then, most digital meters can not measure it because of it's sine wave. (Analog meter can)I was ready to give a flaming 1 star review for a DOA unit. Until I discovered that the 2 brand new GE halogen lamps I was using to troubleshoot the device were bad (what are the chances?). Tried a 3rd lamp, all is good.Seller should consider providing this information in their description to save everybody trouble.

Works OK
I've updated my review. This was installed to drive a 12v 50 watt halogen pendulum light. Discovered that what appeared to be a transformer failure was in fact a connection failure that caused partial melting of the plastic and intermittent connection. This resulted in the connection failing. Once this was fixed, it began to work properly.

Great price, working perfectly
I bought this to replace a 12V power supply in a pendant light in my kitchen. These seem to be pretty difficult to find, even online. I found them here at Amazon and ordered a couple even though I only needed one right now. I removed the broken one and put this one in its place. On my lights the power supply is located in the lights canopy so I was concerned about their size. It turned out that these are nice and compact and much smaller.than the original so it fit easily. Upon applying power the bulb lit and had been in there about a week now. The supply seems to be working perfectly and it makes no sound at all. If you have a low voltage fixture that is in need of a power supply this is a great option.B
