Great product.
Super light. Fits great. Inexpensive. USA made. Only 4 stars because I have not had long enough to see durability. I will definitely order more. Also wish it had a small "pocket" inside like the Soffe shorts I love. I am 5'11" 165lbs, and wear a 32 jean. The medium fit perfect. In the pic I also have on a medium TR980 from Game Gear.

One of the best running shorts
These are one of the best running shorts I have ever purchased. The material is so light and breathable it doesn’t even feel as if I have any shorts on. And on that note, due to the thin material, these shorts can border on see-through when damp and soaked in sweat. I tend to wear them with a jock strap when running during the day, which helps conceal my 'outline' when I run and which also provides some support and less uncontrollable bounce in the front area (because people tend to notice it). When I run in the wee morning hours however, I just wear them as is. I am size 34 in the waist and I went with size large since these are really short shorts. The only caveat is that the stock photo shown is slightly misleading because it features the "GG" logo. When you get them, the logo is different.

Running shorts like they used to be
These. Are. Awesome. The GameGear track shorts are made entirely of incredibly smooth and supple nylon tricot fabric; they're light as a feather and feel like a soft caress. These are *minimal* shorts in many respects and very retro in their style and material. Running shorts used to be just that; short. While these GameGear track shorts aren't quite as short as running shorts used to be they come very close hitting just above mid-thigh. Those with a severe case of modesty should steer clear of these shorts. The liner does little to contain or constrain your manhood and while it is not uncomfortable there will be a lot of movement "down there" when you run in them ...or even walk in them. The nylon tricot fabric is very supple and will easily conform itself to your bits as you run or simply stand into a light breeze. The open weave of the fabric which makes them very airy also makes the lighter colors somewhat translucent especially when they get wet. Those of you (exhibitionists, freeballers) who will no doubt cut the liner out just be aware even the dark colors will show through ...I know. But overall these are a sweet pair of shorts. The only drawback is there isn't a waistband pocket but then these are designed as track shorts ....and typically in a track meet you wouldn't be carrying anything on your person anyway. There is no drawstring. I have a 32" waist and the mediums fit me perfectly. Great for running they are also very cool for very casual or lounge wear.

Good shorts, mediocre liner
These are thin and lightweight. The inner liner is loose and roomy. They're quick drying because of the thinness and the material. The leg holes of the inner liner have an elastic band that make them bunch tight around the leg so the boys stay inside but I personally don't like the feel of that so i cut them off. It felt a little like wearing a saggy diaper. Be aware that with or without the liner your going to see the "fireman's hat" and the outline of your shaft. That's fine for a run because you cant see anything while you're moving and actually feel like you're running naked. But I use these mostly for lounging around the house and laying by the pool.

Good for early morning or evening runs
Very comfortable, and light weight, which is what I was looking for. Great shorts for a long run.The only down side is that since they are so thin and breathable that they're basically see through during mid day sun. They do have an liner/brief built in but really all that does is make it look like you're wearing the same color briefs under the shorts. At which point, why not just wear breifs and not have the liner? The briefs are the same lightweight material so they also breath well, but don't expect them to offer any support. You'll still need to wear something beneath these.Pros:Very light weight, which is ideal for long runs.Loose in the leg allowing for an easy comfortable stride.A ton of colors to chose fromInexpensiveCons:They're shear. Unless you're an exhibitionist they're not suited for brightly lit runs. Like I said before even with the liner, it just looks like you're wearing briefs beneath your shorts, and it will be visible with the sun behind you.I wish they made these with a double layer of material throughout and skip the built in briefs. Then they'd still be light and breathable, without being see through in bright light. That said, with 4 pros and 1 con, they're still nice shorts and worth 4 stars. You just have to think about the conditions before you venture onto a public trail with them on.Update:I've been wearing 4 pair of these shorts for several months now, and they still look/feel like new. I liked them so much I bought more colors, so now I have a total of 6 pair. As noted, in my previous review I've been wearing them for long runs to prep for a half marathon. Even after a 12 mile run there is no chafing, they don't bind, etc. Very comfortable, and can't be beat for the price. I'm bumping them up to 5 stars. I only gave it 4 originally because they're semi-sheer. However If you're trail running where there is shade, or you run in the morning/evening, they can't be seen though.

Some fit...some don't.
I've order several pairs of these GG shorts. The black and green in XL fit me very comfortably so I decided to order a pair of grey ones. They arrived today. Same size (XL) just a different color. The grey ones are much bigger than my other pairs and don't fit well. I don't know if they should have been marked 2XL or if they've changed the waist size for their XLs but this doesn't work. I've submitted a request for a refund and waiting to hear back. This is not an expensive item but I thought I had found something I could count on.
