Replaced a lockable lower doorknob in my condo with this since I had an upper keypad deadbolt. Looks beautiful, feels solid when turning, and installed in less than 15 min. No adjustments needed for using the existing striker plate. Polished brass matches the bolt very closely. Really nice, would buy again.

Some of these reviews had me laughing, especially the lady with photos showing she had to destroy her door to rescue her boy. This was too easy to install and worked perfectly. Some people should read the description and be aware this is a non locking knob assembly. As far as jamming, make sure you have the latch installed correctly and aligned with the knob assembly. Test it before you close the door. Lol. This goes with all brands and models.

Super easy to install. Took me 15 minutes for all 3 knobs, if that. I bought 3 of these passage knobs to replace all my entry door knobs that were 25 year old Kwikset. Front and back doors, and entry door to attached garage. I already had separate Kwikset deadbolts installed years ago that still work great, and this passage knob works for what I intended. However, it's very cheaply made, and is so lightweight it weighs about ONE THIRD what my Kwikset knob weighs that I removed. I *highly* doubt these knobs will last that long....but since I'm selling my condo I'm not putting a lot of money into replacement door knobs.

Look locally for this type of knob in my box stores. Seems I can't find anything like them anymore order these to find them in boxes and a very good quality. For the price they are almost half as much as knobs locally in boxes which you hardly find anymore and greatly made. The finish seems high quality also, would definitely recommend and will buy again if needed!

This brightened my day by quickly serving to replace an old door knob with a worn-out finish. I did have to pound in the lock mechanism without expecting to. And wasn't quite sure why the hole for the old door knob wasn't wide enough to fit the new one. But some mysteries in life are never solved.

This item had been returned before.. Clearly the screws had been open, and there were old used screws in package too. Luckily I had some to put it on. I paid for a “new” item not a used/returned item. Idk what’s going on, because this seems to happen alot lately.

I didn't realize how cheaply made my previous door knobs were. The interior was plastic and ended up breaking which caused them to be difficult to turn. I bought these and were surprised that it was made of all metal and when you replace everything (knob, hardware and the plate) the door shuts tight. Like no play in the door when closed. They're perfect. Shutting the door is oddly satisfying now. Weird in a good way.I'd imagine most people won't have my same issues but these are excellent and the build quality makes me believe they will last a long time. I'd never expect to really love a door knob purchase but I really do love these.
