Martin Furniture Contemporary Office Double Pedestal Executive Desk

Was returned. Unsataisfactory.

I could not be any happier with this desk. It is not where it will eventually be located and the computer equipment is not fully set up. I am waiting for new windows to be installed and intend to do all the furniture moving associated with that only once. However, the computer is in the desk and it, the monitor, and the speakers are plugged into the power control panel. I find that by removing the top drawer I can easily access the outlets by feel. I have not tried using the USB ports in the power panel yet, but I assume they will work. Everything else about this desk is absolutely top notch.I want to commend both Amazon and Martin. The desk arrived damaged. The box had been hit. Obviously hard. The faces of the center drawer and the bottom file drawer were both damaged. I called Amazon and was immediately told that “we'll get another desk sent right away. I suggested that since it was only the two drawers that were damaged it might be cheaper and easier for everyone (especially me) if they just sent me replacement drawers. I was told that Amazon would have to check with Martin. Amazon called me back in less than five minutes and said that Martin would be sending the new drawers. No more than three minutes later I received a call from Martin to confirm that I needed the center and bottom drawers. It was also explained that it might take a couple weeks if they had to manufacture the drawers. I think that the response times and follow up by both Amazon and Martin are examples of customer service of the highest order. Kudos to both of you!
