Great subs for the price
Sound great and push lots of power I have them on a stinger 2000.1 amp. The fit was a little tight but you definitely get a bang for you buck

Just WoW !
This will likely be long, but I have pictures too :) lolSo I have been running an 18" Skar EVL in a 5 cu ft box, with two Dayton 15" Passive Radiators tuned to 30.5 hz, for a couple months. They sounded freaking fantastic ! Best enclosure (out of around 30) that I have ever built ! Only one problem... I had bought the 4 ohm DVC, because I thought I would end up using two of them in an isobaric enclosure. After that plan changed, I ended up only being able to make about 1300 wts, instead of 2600. Okay, so one might say, "Sure, but that EVL was only rated for 1250 anyway, so that should have been perfect"..... Well, as I had already said, it sounded fantastic, but it bugged me that I had an amp that could make 2600 wts, and I was only making half of that. Also, their is this other thing called impedance rise (look into it). So when I'm talking about making 1300... or 2600 watts, sure, I'd like to believe that, but with impedance rise of a subwoofer when beating on it, I might only be sending a "true" 900 or 1800 wts to the sub. Then, remember that manufacturers always try to put a safety margin on wattage ratings. So, by going to a 2 ohm DVC 18" ZVX (rated for 1600 wts RMS) I'm probably delivering 1800 wts with my Wolfram 2400.1 amp, of "actual power" after impedance rise, which my research showed, should be perfect with this subwoofer, when you consider that I'm super careful about not clipping my subs / amps. If you are one of those guys that tries to get 2000 wts out of a 1000 wt setup, maybe this wouldn't work out so well.Anyway OMG ! My sub setup has went from already the best I ever had, to 2 notches above that :) Going from the EVL 4 ohm DVC to the ZVX 2 ohm DVC has given me a 3 db gain, which is pretty substantial. But where I really notice it, is down at the bottom... around 20-30 hz. It's borderline for hair tricks.... But I'm bald, so I cant be sure :) lolIt also plays all the way up to 120hz and beyond... but if I went any higher, my four 8" mid bass drivers wouldn't have anything left to do ? Because of this, it plays old school stuff surprisingly well, but then I can turn around and play some kind of electronic stuff with 20-30 hz notes, and just blur your vision :) ALL crystal clear.I'm convinced that these are the best "value" subs on the market today. I know you can get stronger, louder subs, but you will likely pay a LOT more.... maybe even 300-500% more. So, if money is no object, maybe you will want to get a $1500 or $2000 sub(s) instead (and all the greatly increased amps and electrical to go with it). For the rest of you, look no farther. One more thing..... If anybody gives this sub less than a 5 star, I'd have to say, they did not use it in the right enclosure. If your good at enclosure building, great ! Go for it. If not, you should probably have a enclosure designed, and / or built for you, by somebody who knows whats up.These pics are with the 18" EVL, but from the outside, these subs look virtually identical anyway. Took me about 15 minutes to swap them out. I did the modeling in WinIsd Pro. When I first designed it, I figured I could play around with different tuning, as its so easy to change. But honestly, I can't imagine I could improve the tuning from what it is right now. 30.5 seems perfect :)

Best sub on the market
All I can say is WOW, I have owned plenty of subs but this one by far is the best I have ever owned this is skars top of the line sub and that's for a good reason. The sound quality is very clear and clean it holds it composure at high and low volumes. I have one in skars vented rhino coated sub box and it thumps all through your body even at low volumes it sounds like elephants stumping on the ground with bedroom shoes on SOLID sound quality DÈEEEEEP BAAAAAASS hands down

This sub is a beast.. I hope you have cool Neighbors
First off I have to say that all the negative reviews on here are only one of two things.. dust cap coming off or shipping damage/ error. Haven't seen any negative feedback about performance because there is none...I have owned 1 of these Subs for 2 years now... yes my dust cap came loose within the first month or so but I just simply glued it back on. After researching (asking Google), I bought the glue they use, which cost $8 on Amazon, and I haven't had any issues since... This sub is a beast. The amplifier I'm using is a Taramp smart 3K. It's an awesome amp for the price; just watch Willison Audio Labs on YouTube... I also have a lc2i line output converter to help with the base "roll off"... I think the subwoofer enclosure I have is too small, not enough air space for the sub... which is why I'm here writing this review. I'm contemplating getting another sub and buying a two-sub enclosure. I can only imagine what two of these are going to sound like. If I remember I'll give an update in the futureAll in all, I am very pleased with this sub and I would recommend it to anyone.

If you want something that lasts 30 days then this brand is for you
Avoid this brand, sub lasted less than 3 months but produced weird smells only after 1 month, and guess what skar will ask you to ship your subwoofer all the way to FL just to take a look. Yes im sure i want to spent $200 plus insurance if i wanna ship a $350 subwoofer over to them, this brand is a joke, i ll go back to rockford as soon as these fragile subs break completely
