Good

The light is great and it lights the place very well. It can be connected to the Mi Home Mobile App where you can control it with other smart gadgets you have. I like that it has different shades between yellow or warm to white and the light intensity can be dimmed. I didn't try the voice commands but so far, so good and I will definitely invest more in smart stuff to save resources & money and have an easier way of operating things around my house. I recommend it, its a great investment!

It does not have detachable base like in the picture, it's a different light

This light connects through Yeelight or Xiaomi Home apps (either works). The app communicates with the light by contacting the server first (default server is in Singapore), then by telling the light to change. This can be a bit laggy but it also allows you to control the light even if you aren't on the same network. You can override this behaviour in the app by allowing "LAN Control" and using a custom app to give commands to the light directly if you are on the same WiFi.The problem started when in 2021 Xiaomi disallowed Mijia lights from enabling "LAN Control". Now you have to rely on the Singapore servers to keep using the light, and if they stop running (power outage or whatever) then the light won't work. If you had any custom automation set up or you were using an app before, it has stopped working when they disallowed "LAN Control".These lights are good, but be wary of the company practices, because they seem to like disabling features after the fact.

Beautiful design and build with quality material.The only problem I faced the advertisement stated this lamp would come with a remote control. It didn't come with at all, the ad description refers to another product.

Large size nice modern design . Very easy to instal. Very bright. One piece should be enough for a middle sized room 4×4 meters. Should be used with MI app but you get better control with yeelight app (since it does not come with remote). Can integrate with Google assistant and Samsung smart things. Glad I bought it during prime day sale

It's such an amazing product! Made such a difference to our bedroom.Easy to install and clean as well.The only thing is we wish, the remote came along with the light.For now, we have downloaded the app on the phone but still would have loved to have the remote.
