Fazer Marianne - Chocolate Filled Mint Candies (220g) - Pack of 2

These are wonderful - white, clean peppermint on the outside (think candy cane flavor - not hot like some peppermint), and rich chocolate on the inside. Just try to hold off and not bite down on the crunchy peppermint to get to the chocolate! I bet you can't!

I have always loved these. When you have a craving for minty chocolate this does the trick with less calories. I have given this for gifts and my friends have enjoyed them as well. A little pricy but oh well.

Looking for these for years as our Finnish friends brought the best to us many times. Every one who tryst them falls head over heels in love. Just not enough in one bag for me!

It was interesting to try the candy and see how I could bite through the thin candy coating to reach the chunk of chocolate inside. It's really something to experience; it wasn't something I could really imagine. The candy is as described, and I personally didn't like the candy that much because the mint coating is not the strong sharp mint that I enjoy, but my students do like them, so they haven't gone to waste. :)

Delicious chocolate filling - not overly sweet - inside a crunchy peppermint shell - not overly spicy. A delightful combination of flavors - no wonder these sell out every year at Christmas-time!
