This seems to be a quality extract powder. I have a capsule maker and I fill a size O capsules with this chinese skullcap powder and take them at night. They help me fall asleep.

I was expecting a leaf, and I got a powder. Otherwise, the product is fine.

I expected this to taste bitter, but it's not. I got it after a recent Dr. Geo podcast about prostate care, and Chinese Skullcap was one of the ingredients in the supplement he was promoting. An excellent scientific article on Science Direct about how this supplement has been used over the last two millennia.

In fact, what they each do is very different. You will find relaxation, reduction in anxiety, etc. in the American form which uses the leaves. Chinese is extremely strong root form. Tastes even better than black garlic but....... stopping use of it cold. It is not anything but a risk for me. Only danger ahead using it as an older person.It is very finely ground. Excellent in that respect and in taste. Extremely powerful probably but none of the conditions mentioned at Mount Sinai Medical Center (mountsinai.org) for Chinese skullcap in an article comparing American and Chinese skullcap benefits and risks justifies its use.
