The media could not be loaded. If you need something to start with, this gives you most of what you need to begin at a great price. Most people complain about the cutters being dull but that was not the case for me! I accidentally cut through the cutting mat provided, so I took a star off for that and I will be more careful next time. Overall very happy to try out leatherworking at a low price while getting all of the tools I need. I ended up making a simple braided leather bracelet with these tools and bought some leather snaps as well

This kit is such a great value. It comes with everything you need plus extra stuff to take your projects to the next level. The maul it comes with is outstanding and a great weight for beginners. You can punch stitching holes with it. (Just make sure you put something solid underneath your leather like a concrete block or marble slab.)The tools are cheap, yes, but they're not so cheap that they're unusable. I still use some of them today. I can't say enough good things about this kit. Every piece is great and it has everything you need.

Tool bag is very sturdy and nicely made, tools come with a large range of uses which is great for beginners that wants to try out leather making while being able to make your project fancy with engravings and other add ons.

Edited Comment: So I have been using this now for about a week.. Overall it isn't bad, and is a great starter kit for the price! My complaints.. 1. The ruler is NOT cork backed, so it slips around. DO NOT USE THIS FOR CUTTING. Be safe, buy a cork backed ruler. 2. The rotary cutter is.. shabby. The safety guard is iffy and likes to slide around, especially when you don't want it to. It worked well, but having 2 young kids who enjoy watching my work, the safety guard is an absolute must and huge fail for me. 3. This is mostly for beginners sake.. I wish there was a better list for what each item was and what it did. This is mostly because half of the items I've found aren't used by crafters online, so knowing what they do would be nice.What I like: 1. The mallet is nice and heavy, which makes punching holes super easy. 2. The cutting pad is nice and thick and works very well! I would wish for a little bit bigger lines, but overall it is a very nice pad. 3. The chisels are nice and solid, along with the single punches.Overall, this is a great starter kit, but because of my complaints, I would only give this 3 or 3 1/2 stars. Do not let that sway you though. If you are looking to get into leathercrafting, this very well could be the kit for you, especially because of the rivet and alphabet stamp packs!

Pros-It’s a great kit for beginners. I have used all of the tools and they are good quality for the price, don’t expect it to be a professional quality but it’s not bad at all. I have worked on 4 little projects so far and the kit didn’t disappointed me.Cons-They could have included snap buttons in the kit, all of then were rivets so i have to order another snap buttons kit.
