Q: Does this allow for vertical/portrait mounting of a webcam (vs. horizontal/landscape)?

Yes, at the end of the gooseneck is a ball and socket joint. You can rotate it in any reasonable direction, and then lock it in place with the thumb screw.

Q: Does this stand work with the Logitech C925-e Webcam?

Yes, it would. I use the Logitech C920 with the stand … and actually bought two more of the stands days after getting the first one. One for my work setup, and another for personal. The third for my wife, but she has a different webcam. Both of mine use the C920. Solid, heavy, and easy to adjust.

Q: What is the diameter of the widest part of the pole? (Not the base)

1 1/8 inch on lower section of the pole, 3/4 inch at the top section of the pole that slides up and down. 1 1/4 inch at the top of the pole where the camera attaches. Note, these sizes don't count the knobs at the center and top of the pole where the connectors are coupling. Those two knobs at the couplings are almost 2 inches in diameter. Hope this helps

Q: What is the screw hole size on the bottom of the adapter?

I'm looking at the Puroma Webcam Desk top Stand User Manual and it states 3/8" thread screw hole size on the bottom of the adapter ( "gooseneck"). The screw thread size at the top of the adapter is 1/4". Hope that helps. The webcam stand is well constructed and engineered for multiple locations.
