Perfect fit and Nice Quality
Our ice maker finally gave up the ghost after about 15 years. We have an Amana side-by-side refrigerator with an ice maker in the door. The model number on our old ice maker unit was S 106 626640. I admit that I had a little trouble cross-referencing this exact number, it did not show up on any replacement list I could find. That said, I was able to go directly to the Supco web site where they gave a lot more information about these ice makers - which I knew nothing about before I started.I ordered this unit because everything suggested it should replace nearly 90% of the ice makers out there. I guess I had no idea that ice makers like this were such a drop-in commodity. The RIM900 model from Supco was a nearly identical replacement for my ice maker. I ended up having to re-use the wiring harness from my old ice maker, which I was okay with since the harness was in perfect condition. I also had to remove the wire lift-arm and re-use my old lift arm. My old arm has an additional wire attached to it - apparently so the ice level won't get as high. Swapping both of these items on the new ice maker was simple, self-explanatory, and took only seconds. The pamphlet that came with the new ice maker said that I should wait at least several hours before deciding if the unit worked or not. Apparently the ice maker must reach 10º F before it will even fill the water tray. In my case that only took about an hour, the manual indicates it could be as much as 12 hours. For my repair, and in my freezer, the unit began dumping ice within 5 hours of the repair. After about 12 hours had passed the unit had made a few rounds of ice.I am very pleased. The unit is practically a drop-in replacement for the old unit on my Amana side-by-side, model # ARSE67RBB, with ice maker model # S_106_626640. I purchased this replacement unit RIM900 made by Supco. I'm not sure how to describe the "quality" of the unit, it is virtually identical to what came out of the fridge in almost every detail - and it functioned perfectly on the first shot. It has made several batches of ice since then.I did learn something very obvious, that I just didn't consider: If the unit makes some small ice cubes and some large ice cubes ... you may want to check how level your fridge is from front-to-back, and from side-to-side. If the fridge isn't level, the water in the tray won't freeze level and you'll get different sized ice cubes. You can either tweak the level of the ice maker itself by loosening screws, leveling the unit, and retightening them. Or, I suppose, just check that your entire fridge is level.

Glad I read the reviews
Amazon's part selector where you enter your model number (in my case a Maytag MSD2651HEB) and then it tells you if this will fit your fridge told me NO... this part is not for my fridge. WRONG. Glad I read the reviews, if you've got a dual-door Maytag that's around 10 years old this model works perfectly. The only thing I needed to do to get it to fit the fill tube properly is cut a small piece of plastic that looks like it should be perforated for removal but isn't. I used a razor blade to remove it, an exacto knife or scissors will work just as well. The piece looks like it was designed to be removed but wasn't perforated at the factory and had to be cut out to fit my fill tube. Everything else is self-explanatory to install (you will need to keep your old wiring harness). Installed it, turned my freezer down as cold as possible (temporarily to get it going) and I had new ice within a couple of hours. Turned my freezer back to my normal level and haven't had a problem since. GREAT alternative to spending 2 or 3 times as much for a stock part.

Works great, just make sure its going to be 100% compatible with your current fridge and harness.
Physically fit perfectly into my Kenmore fridge model 253.78822013 to replace my AD-18 ice maker unit (which died after one year) that came with it. However my original AD-18 ice maker unit didn't have a plug on the end of the harness that goes into this unit so I had to open it up and cut the wiring until I had the 4 wires exposed. I had to do some studying and looking at screenshots of the wire layout where I eventually soldered the wiring to the pins that the harness would normally make the wire connections to... added a little shrink tube around the connections and plugged it into the fridge. And a couple of hours later there was ice! So depending upon how brave you are you could do what I did but you might find it easier to remove your current ice maker (don't worry about shutting off the water or anything like that as the ice maker is the thing that calls for water from the fridge so you can just unplug and pull it out in less than 5 mins) first to determine if you have the necessary harness plug that would plug into the new one and if you don't, you might be better off looking for a different unit because if I knew my current maker didn't have the necessary harness plug I would have looked for a different one. But I didn't want to hassle with returns costing me more money and delaying my install of a new unit... plus I knew I could get it working if I could figure out the wiring. So just be aware that you really should have a harness plug that can be unplugged from your current unit that will be able to plug into this new one... if I had that my install would have taken 5 mins or less instead of a couple of hours and a soldering iron.
