Let there Be LIGHT
used this in rural Lake Anna Virginia State Park at an ultra triathlon where it is so dark, "you can't see the end of your nose" kind of dark. In the middle setting, it was FANTASTIC and battery life outstripped my expectations. The amount of light was almost too much, I needed to ensure that the light was appropriately aimed but I had as much light as could be had to see (both) sides of the road as the biggest hazard was deer coming from either side. This is a 2nd generation purchase. I picked up my original many years ago (2013?) and this one went to my daughter as I'm still happy with my older light, even though it's less bright and eats the battery a little more quickly. Support for existing products is unbelievable -- after getting support for such an old product made the decision to pick up this light for my daughter a "no-brainer".Best improvement, for me, was the newer lights have slightly shorter cable lengths and have re-arranged the layout -- I'm sure based on customer feedback. More companies should work like Bright Eyes!

Nice retrofit
This battery pack works just fine with my current light which I’ve had for 10 years or so. The old pack finally gave out, so it was time for new one.I was pleased to find a replacement that would fit, and as an added bonus, it has a longer rated running time.In my case, I just sort of crammed it into my original pouch. It was a slightly tight fit, but it works just fine. So I’m back in business with a nice, bright light. The price is reasonable. The connector matches so installation couldn’t be simpler.I do recommend it.

Great batteries, not the most reliable connector.
I had an old battery pack that wouldn't even give me an hour on full power on my main headlight maybe 2 hours on low before it was empty. After charging this one, I used my light for 3-4 hours on 3 separate trips, on low with a good amount of high mode use, before I chose to recharge it. It wasn't even empty yet when I charged it. I'm blown away at how long it seems to last with my light compared to my old batteries. It really adds a lot of piece of mind, being fairly sure you're light battery won't run out mid-ride.Update 11/28/16The connector doesn't make a connection anymore with the charger or a light. I'm 99% sure it has plenty of charge. I think something inside the barrel connector got disconnected somehow. Going to contact the seller. The seller offered me a pro-rated battery to replace the broken one.Update: 10/08/17So it happened again. I was out riding at night this time when my light went out. I Unplugged and replugged, and moved the cables around a little and could get the light on if I pushed the wire and connector together a little, and managed to get home by using a literal bandaid to try and keep it in such a way that it stayed on. It disconnected as I pulled into my driveway. The cells inside are still very very good, but they can't make a connection. These seem to last about a year/couple thousand miles before the wire going into the barrel connector seems to get loose somehow, despite my best efforts to ensure there was no stress on the connectors. Its happened twice now and I'm getting a battery case to put the batteries into instead of getting yet another replacement, unless they can offer a free one.

Good light, great price, even better warranty
I have a couple of these lights now and they perform well. nice and bright and they stick to my bars well. I had one of the lights shut off unexpectedly in the middle of a rough mtb ride at night due to some internal connection, but the company sent a new one as soon as i called them. this is why i always ride with at least one backup light, since it's hard to predict how a rough downhill trail ride will affect an electronic device.

Quality Product with Exceptionally Responsive Customer Service
I bought my second Bike Light from Bright Eyes this Christmas when I noticed there was a new 1800 Lumens light. I’ve been so happy with their 1000 lumens light over the years, that I decided to upgrade to a brighter light since I ride a lot at night. When I opened the box of the new light had lots of extras, including 2 ways to mount the light on the handlebars. Unfortunately, the small adapter that connects to the light and the the bike mount was missing. I mounted to the bike using the other device provided, and it worked well!I wanted to use the other mount since it was taller and it fit my bike better, so I emailed customer service on the day after Christmas. Don replied to me the next day, apologized, and sent me the replacement part immediately. I received it very, very quickly. It worked perfectly. Don from customer service had also asked me to respond to his email and let him know that I received the part. When I notified him of receipt of the part, he replied back and thanked me. He offered additional help if needed. The light itself is very bright, well-built, sturdy, and performs well. The battery is in a solid case and very easy to mount. I would rate it 10 out of 10!I highly appreciate a company that cares about their products and their customers! That’s rare these days!

Battery has stopped working after light use of only six months
Won't charge at all. And no power is coming out of it. I have used it maybe five times in six months and charged less often than that and it just stopped working
